This product works well at a reasonable price and is well matched with its competitors
5/5

In my opinion, so far, this seems to be quite a catch for a magnetic one. Making the right choice of an "affordable" rower is not as easy as it sounds. It was necessary, however, to make a decision as we learn how to prepare the break area here at the office for people who will return to work when they start coming back to the office. Considering all that's going to happen, it'll be a long weekend During this time wonderland, everyone can see how much has changed, and this is only one improvement out of many. The main reason is that it works very At first (right now), we are building it at one of our homes, in addition to some other pieces of Check its functionality after it's been broken in Also, their break area is getting a new floor because they want to renovate. It's best to make use of it somewhere until it is ready to be slid into the back of a truck and transported to its final destination. Rowers), and two people can easily carry it around without getting out of breath. The one that put it together made sure that the other supported him emotionally but did not touch anything. It was completed in 20 minutes with only one person putting it together without any help. I found the process to be simple and they provided me with all the information I needed. With the exception of a knife for opening the box and materials, there was no need for any other tool. In terms of performance, it's not a Concept 2, but it's not fair to compare it to one since the Concept 2 is much more expensive than what we're talking about here. Therefore, if you're looking for Concept 2, then get one. (We've found that many people in the comments here on Amazon recommend it). The problem is that not everyone is ready to shell out that amount of cash. Keeping it reasonable in price is a top option for sure if you are looking to keep it that way. The system seems to function quite well, and quite quietly too. LCD displays do not come with any additional features, and that is the only downside. There are no other options here. You get your regular stats. We did not play a game or do The rower does, however, handle a good amount of weight, and it does what a rowing machine is designed for (to row). So it works well and is quiet, and it goes together quickly as well. All the work can be done by one person and the price is right (especially when it's Does it seem perfect? I wouldn't say so. There isn't anything amiss, but the sole thing we could find was that the middle support foot didn't touch the ground unless someone was heavy enough on the machine. So in the worst-case scenario, stick a thin piece of felt over the area. If you can, put some wood or a book under it to help add some support. We have not noticed it, but that may change once it is on the hard surface at the office. Other than that, we have not run into any problems. I am certain that we will update if something goes south. Once Amazon gives us consumers the option to add images again, we will return to add them. A great rowing machine for a good price
5/5

In my search to find the best rowing machine within the $200 to $300 price range I read about more than a dozen reviews. This is my third week using the device and I am very satisfied with it. It is straightforward to assemble and easy to use. In addition, the front feet are equipped with wheels so it can easily be moved from one room to another. This is a very easy device to move around, and I use it in front of a television to make the time pass more quickly. You can roll it across any hard floor or carpet by picking the back end up, lifting it to about a 45 degree angle, and letting it roll forward on its wheels. As the back end of the light weight phone is very light, it can be lifted with little effort. My resistance has been adjusted within a range that has been sufficient. My age is 70, but I am fit and athletic, and I use weight machines and ride a bicycle to work out. It has 16 resistance settings, ranging from 1-16. On setting #8, I do most of my rowing sessions of 15 to 20 minutes. A rowing machine's resistance can be found at setting 16, which is quite stiff and offers plenty of resistance for a general fitness machine. After all, this is an aerobic exercise machine not intended for bulking up muscles. Mechanical engineer by background, I also like the design of the unit, which makes it easy to disassemble the resistance unit in case anything should wear out and need to be replaced down the road. With a few screws, the sides can be removed for full access to the You can spend more, but you don't have to. This is a great machine at a great price.

This is a much higher quality product than you might expect for this price! This was our first purchase of SF-1000 A great deal of research was done to determine which machine was best for our use two weeks ago before we decided upon the RW5801
5/5

During this review, I will present as many details as I can and explain why we chose this brand/model (I will also provide updates in the future). The primary reason why we were shopping for an electric rower in the first place can be traced back to a little history. My physician recently diagnosed me exercises, such as recumbent biking, swimming, and rowing, are part of that plan. Due to the fact that research shows rowers have the largest and strongest heart muscles from the total body effort, that is why rowing is the preferred form of exercise. Because of these mounting medical bills, we needed to choose a machine that was reasonably priced compared to the life fitness equipment we already own (commercial model). However, we wanted to make sure the machine's quality was sufficient for the frequency in which I will be using it. There are machines such as the Concept II and NordicTrack that are of high quality. It is estimated that I should have the ability to perform upright exercises within 5 months of starting physical therapy. Because we have been long distance runners for the past 20 years, we already planned to upgrade to the NordicTrack x32i incline treadmill later this year, so we knew that was our priority. My feet will be back on the ground as soon as possible! As a result, we would stick to the $300-$400 range We need a rower in the low to mid-range. In two weeks, I have been exercising on this machine, and I can honestly say that I am very impressed! There might be a rower in this price range Although the price is friendly, the quality is actually quite good for the price. As I see it, my review can be broken into three areas We chose this machine over others in its category because of three things 1) I Love it, 2) It Could Be Better, and 3) It Can Do More. I LOVE*
1. The fact that I live in Portland, Oregon. A simple assembly is required One large box, about 70 pounds, contained all the components for the machine A little bit over a pound. Despite its size, my husband was able to carry it inside and upstairs to our home gym without any difficulties. Unboxing indicates the machine has been assembled to a large extent. Attaching the seat to the rail, attaching the feet to the bottom and screwing on the footrests is the only thing that needs to be done. A rail/seat assembly attaches to the machine. All of the tools, components, onto a piece of cardboard numbered to match the assembly steps. They really could not have made it any simpler! Each step of the process is clearly outlined in the instructions, and the instructions are written clearly with detailed drawings of each process step. Each package will include all the tools you'll need for step one, for example. In my humble opinion, even a young child could solve this! All in all, it took us about 15 minutes to put it together. I love how easy it is! 2. *br *br The following are the features of a padded seat Rowers are one of my favorite exercise equipment at the gym, but I find the hard seats to be a problem. With a lightly padded seat, it makes a huge difference when working out for long periods of time. I also like the quality of the vinyl, and the seams of the shirt are very neat. 3
3. This is the tablet holder That was a smart move! The reason we selected this machine over other options is because of this feature. Your tablet can now be used to follow the workouts on your phone or tablet if you have access to a gym-class app like iFit (which is now compatible with ANY machine brand). (Note that this machine cannot be connected to iFit so that the instructor can change the resistance. Nevertheless, you are welcome to follow along with the exercise, if you choose to do so. 1)
2. 3. A strong level of resistance It was so much quieter to use the magnetic resistance machine, and the decision proved to be an excellent one. There are no sounds coming out of this machine! In some reviews it has been reported that the resistance between the 16 levels isn't noticeable, which seems strange to me. My interval training consists of the following My warm up is at level 2 and I increase to level 6 as soon as I get going, and if I need to recover I drop to level 4. Although Level 6 is challenging, and I'm not out of shape by any means, I still find it challenging. There will seldom be an excuse to complain that it isn't hard enough with 10 more levels to build toward. Rowing is a form of exercise that relies on endurance and Would you be able to do it if you were on level 16 and yanking the handle? That's a given. What if you want to maintain both your form and your stroke rate during Unless you are very fit, it is unlikely. Therefore, any negative reviews have to be disregarded by me because they were most likely written by people who do not understand the rowing mechanism. 3. *5. It is important to be pleasing to the eye and of high quality. Honestly, I am more concerned with the function of this machine rather than its aesthetics. But I will admit that it looks stunning. We could not be happier with it, and it fits in perfectly with our LifeFitness equipment. Rather than just look high quality, it also feels like it. Does it represent a $3,000 machine? Not at all. This doesn't cost $3,000 either, so it's a no-brainer. Whenever I make a statement, I dislike qualifying it by saying "for the price range, it's great" because that doesn't give the product enough credit. As an alternative, I should say that I'm surprised that this machine is only $250 since it seems like it should cost at least twice as much. Here's where this machine could be improved after my 5th point

**HOW IT COULD BE BETTER**
I'll explain after my 5th point what could be done to make it better. It is still worth remembering that this is a $250 machine, so anything I list here can be taken with a grain of salt since these things are not necessarily expected However, if any of the items listed here are a must-have for you, you should know what you're getting (or not getting, depending on the case). This is 1. A Display Monitor is used to display information. On the digital monitor, you'll see the elapsed time, the number of strokes you did in your workout, as well as how many calories you burned. If you would like, you can leave it on one of them, or have it try It is the lack of distance tracking that is the biggest deficit here. There is really no way to know how far you have travelled since distance is a combination of strokes and resistance. The amount to plan for all these things depends on the weight of your calculations and your That is the most important thing I want for this device. I wish it would get rid of consumption calories altogether and replace them with distance instead since consumption calories are really a crap shoot. It doesn't ask you to enter your age, height, or weight, so it's basically just calculating calories without any consideration of your variables. It would be SO great if the distance could be displayed for anyone looking to train using this machine!

Also, some reviewers have complained about the quality of the screen, which is just a digital display of numbers. The price point of the product does not really justify an interactive touchscreen. There are people with strange expectations. It's fine. 2. *br *br Handle or strap Numerous reviews mentioned the strap falling off the handle and being sucked back into the engine. As of now, I'm not sure I can visualize this actually happening, but theoretically, I can see how it might. Metal is all that is used as the handle. There are two foam pieces that bracket either side of the strap as hand grips, and then the strap is slipped over it. It is possible for the strap to come off if the foam grip is removed first. However, the foam grips are very securely attached, so it is not as if they would slide off at any moment. Since I have no trouble removing them with effort (I tried), I don't understand how this happens, unless the reviewers damaged their hand grips and then continued to use the machine without fixing them. A rivet or some form of attaching the strap would make the machine much better. This would be such a simple fix that I am unable to comprehend why the company doesn't handle it. 3
3. The height is As compared to other machines I've used over the years, the rail is quite low to the ground. As long as you don't use it, it won't be Whenever you are rowing, it does not matter how far the ground beneath you is. It's not easy after you've worked hard for 40 minutes and you've got to get up from the machine. The muscles may have to work a little harder to get up from such a low position. Also, I would expect this to be challenging for anyone suffering from arthritis or other Organize your cup with these things While it's cool that this machine has a place for you to put your water bottle, I can't reach it once my feet are strapped in when I use it. To avoid spilling my water, I opt to just leave it on the floor next to me. My height makes me small for the job, but I'm 5'4", so maybe a bigger person with long arms would have no trouble. I suppose you could store your phone or something in there, but it's not that great. 3. *5. The warranty is The Sunny website mentions there is a 3 year warranty on the structural frame, and a 180 day warranty on "other parts and components," although this is not noted in the listing. It's pretty light to only have 180 days in a year. A $250 rower like this will cost you $250. The following are some of the reasons we chose this machine over others in its price range 1. Ratings and reviews There is a lot of good feedback about Sunny Health & Fitness There have been overwhelmingly positive reviews of Fitness brand products from across their entire line, including As a result, I felt more confident they were authentic reviews because they were so detailed. In so many cases, brands get people to write fake reviews to boost their ratings. However, it does not appear this is 2. *br *br This is the tablet holder Although it is seemingly insignificant, it can have a huge impact. It is pretty cool to be able to use this machine in conjunction with iFit on your tablet. In this price range, the machine stood out from the rest for that reason. 3
3. The warranty is Despite the fact that I listed warranty in the "things that could be better" section, we also considered it as part of our decision to buy. As far as I was concerned, the fact that the company offered a warranty at all was important. As well, we purchased 2 years of additional coverage for only $25, but at this price point, I'm not sure how necessary that would have been. 4

Customers who mention to the company that their monitors or other parts were damaged upon receipt (presumably after shipping trauma) usually note that the company promptly replaced the damaged parts, or in some cases, the entire machine. It is hard to find customers with those kinds of ethics.
