As far as I have noticed, the black foam roller works well and doesn't flex as much as other rollers. This device mainly helps me stretch my calf muscles and lift my heels (which is awesome) as well as work on balance and muscular strength around my ankles. Last summer when I fell hiking, I noticed one leg was significantly weaker than the other so that's why this is one of the tools I've used to strengthen both legs.
It is sturdy and makes it easier to replicate the exercise routine I did at my physical therapy The package was well packaged and arrived without any I would highly recommend this product!.
As a program for core strength training, I purchased this and it works very well. There is just enough give in the sole for it to be comfortable on foot. You'll enjoy standing on it as it feels durable and stable when standing on it.
The PT instructor had me use a ladder to do ankle and calf stretches to start, but I didn't feel safe or comfortable on a ladder step even if I was backed up A half roller like this would be perfect for our purposes. that I'm not worried about slipping or falling, I can focus on stretching exercises more effectively. I'm out. It's crucial for me to know this since I'm in my seventies.
To stretch my pecs, whatever shape foam roller I use (the pec opener stretch lying on the ground with the foam roller in the center of your back) is the best tool for me. The foam roller I used was round and I felt unstable whilst doing this in physical therapy. Thus, I was delighted to find this half round foam roller, which is perfect for my office chair. It can also be used as a foot rest for my reclining.
There have been a few people who tried it by lying on it with their arms outstretched and lining up their spine. Here, it is quite popular at the moment. With a couple of rowdy boys, he'll try to last as long as possible.
This product is good for physical therapy at home my only wish is that the material were softer, because it is sort of stiff and could be uncomfortable when exercising.
My favorite aspect of this design is the half cylinder. I was recommended a half cylinder by my doctor since it was easier to use. As I returned it, I received a softer yet equally firm product. I'm sure that some consumers will find this fine.
