As far as hamstrings and glutes are concerned, the 5 inch works really well for me. Orb's 360 degree range of direction to be superior to that of a roller (and I have a smooth roller, a Grid roller, and a Rumble roller) because it improves my mobility. Neither the 7 inch Orb nor the 5 inch Orb have been tried.
On my calf, I find the Orb to be firmer than either of my orange Grid rollers or black Rumble rollers. However, I find the Stick to be even more effective for massaging my calves. With the two rollers, I tend to focus on my hamstrings and IT bands, the Stick on my calves, and the Orb on my gluteus maximus. While I know, I know, there are too many devices, but they all have different and distinct benefits, so I use them all.
My IT band and calf are well massaged by the Orb. It is firm and feels good on the body. From my point of view, it was a wise

As a result of my bad back, I have severe pain. My little lacrosse ball helps to ease the pain occasionally when I suffer from Periformis Syndrome which makes me bedridden. I have been using the smaller lacrosse ball to try and prevent it from happening again. Their construction is ok, but the lacrosse balls are just a bit A pro-bono consultant has been working with me It's been almost a week since I've used the Tec Orb, and I could not be happier. I'd like to provide you with some background information. The back injury I suffered in September caused me to miss most of the fall. In addition to PT, massages, chiropractic visits, etc. , I am a runner and stretch and foam roll as well, but wasn't until I saw someone post about using a product like this that I decided to start researching it. I am experiencing residual compensation pain from my back injury in my hips and glutes, where I cannot target my glutes with a foam roller. I'm not talking about the ball of Orbs. This is a great relief for me. I've used it every day to strengthen my glutes, hips, and hams. Compared to just a few months ago, I have significantly less pain and improved range of motion in my lower back. There is no longer any feeling of being locked at the I am glad I made this purchase.
An abbreviated version is as follows I received a deformed product within 4 days of using it, and the customer service was poor. In case you were wondering, I am a normal sized guy, 5'11", under 200 pounds, and I do not destroy workout equipment often. In any case, this ball has been used six times and by the fourth time it was Hey, things happen and I was sure the company would make it right after all. This is incorrect. They informed me that Amazon would take care of the problem, but this item's return policy (didn't explain why) prevented it from being returned. My permission has been granted to I'm sure Tec knows, but they haven't felt like answering me, thanks! Let me know if there's anything I can do to make it I have given the ball 5 stars when it was spherical, but it has lost 4 since it can no longer be used.
While I was rolling my upper back on it, the ball cracked in half.
So that I can continue to do my exercises at home, my physical therapist recommended I purchase this. Before I begin my exercises, I warm up with a heat pad, and then run the orb along the head and shoulders to loosen things up. You can really feel this thing getting into your body! My eyes are blown away by how this simple shape and so many things it can do. There is a lot of heft to the orb, and the pebbles help prevent it from Great tool to have in your arsenal! It works the same way as foam rolling for your neck!.
For me, it is to large and hard to wear comfortably. It will work fine for others, but it is just uncomfortable for me. As for the knobs, they are shallow, so I don't find it to be particularly comfortable. I sadly failed to make use of it, although others may have done so.
I really like this one. Massage balls are amazing. I really like this one. I use it on my shoulder/neck for shoulder and neck exercises because it's lightweight and has a texture that helps provide some grip between body and wall. In neither case could I get closer to my shoulders by rolling on a floor or by using a tennis ball against a The Orb ball is a combination of two halves that form a ball when joined permanently together I have used it consistently every day for several weeks with no signs that it is splitting. For hip flexors, I use it on the floor, while for my back, hips, and shoulders, I use it against the wall. I now have access to more deep tissue devices and rollers to go along with my other devices.
In Belgium, I accidentally left one of these items in a hotel room, so this is my second purchase. Considering its size, it is ideal for travel - the only thing I would change is making it a bit Neon might be a good choice It is less easy to miss when packing in the dimly lit hotel rooms because it is colored. Foam rolling is great for all kinds of injuries. The hips and calves benefit most from this exercise.
