This product helped me recover from a neck injury. It should be sufficient for stretching the achilles tendon, in my opinion. It's important to remember that the material has some elasticity. It's possible that something more rigid would be a better fit.
It's a high-density foam roller, despite the fact that it's called a "foam" roller. You'll need a lot of Gluteus Maximus cushioning if you want to sit on it.
This appears to be the case. It's been three years. It's been 4 years since I received it as a gift.
There is a group of people who do not believe in the existence of God. Except for the ends, all surfaces have a small mosaic pattern carved into them. To improve my balance, I use a foam roller. I'm not going to back down. Sometimes I walk barefoot, and other times I walk in shoes. When some pressure is applied to hold it to the surface of a hardwood floor, it does not slip. It's possible that it's not the right size or shape to provide support beneath your hips. Foam rubber supports for back alignment are sold separately and are 3 inches high and 5 3/4 inches wide. These are placed beneath your knees while you sleep.

This was purchased in order to perform eccentric heal drops for a torn Achilles' tendon. It works flawlessly! br>My height and weight are 5'4" and 161 pounds, respectively. Don't believe the claims that it's 120 pounds and squishes in the reviews. This is not the case. It has a strong and solid construction.
I bought it for plantar fasciitis PT and to do some ankle strengthening exercises with my dancer daughter. When I stand on it, it compresses noticeably because I'm 135 pounds. This one differs from the one at the therapist's office in that it was noticeably flattened after a few experimental heel dips. Maybe my 80-pound daughter will use it, but it's a good reminder of why I don't buy things that don't come with a free return policy.
I was in desperate need of a half-hour's worth of sleep. I'm using the roller for therapeutic yoga sessions for a hip injury I'm having. Other ones I saw were much longer than I needed, and I only needed the smaller one. br>br>It's perfect; the length is just right. The density is a little squishier than my therapist's, but it's adequate for my needs. It's a pleasant non-profit organization. It also has a non-slip surface that is simple to clean. br>br>I've only had it for a few months, so I can't vouch for its longevity. I'm not concerned about long-term durability, but I'll be happy if it lasts a year. I'll be overjoyed if it lasts longer than expected (since I'm the only one who uses it).
For calf and foot work, I needed this. I was concerned that it would be too soft to support my entire body weight while remaining in shape. It has a slight give to it, but it isn't squeeky. That's precisely what I'd been looking for.
For me, it's perfect. My application necessitated a full roller. very strong and long-lasting It was well worth the money.
This is my third half-round roller from Amazon, and it outperforms the other two. The black specks from the foam cork were everywhere, and the indentations from the foam pad were permanent. So far, this one has served me well; I've been using it every morning for the past two weeks to stretch my calves.
It has a good feel to it and appears to be of high quality. Although not exactly what I was looking for, it would be a good product for someone who requires something similar.
This isn't at all what I had anticipated. I assumed it would have some give because of the word "foam. " NONE They could have made it out of plastic or even cement if they really wanted to. It has the consistency of a rock. On the plus side, it elevates and will never lose its shape.
