The product broke and I was injured, as a 5 ft tall, 108 pound pregnant woman, I was very vulnerable.
The one I chose was after doing my research on the best one and gave it as a gift to my wife. As a parent of a second child, this birthing ball is incomparably better than the one my wife had before. The birth ball is thicker and much stronger than any other ball in the market. Thank you for providing the sizing chart, we were able to get the right size that fit her perfectly (last time we didn't get the best fit). As a conspiracy theorist, I think that a lot of other size charts are meant to get you to buy smaller sizes because they're cheaper to manufacture. She is selecting the exercises that work best for her from the exercise booklet, and they are working for her. It is very easy for her to read and there are a lot more exercises than she needs. The birth ball we received was exactly what we were looking for. The book is highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a good book.
The problem is. It was not hard to inflate the ball with the pump, but took about five minutes total. I have not yet tried the socks. Among 2 things I noticed, one wasn't my cup of tea I am surprised at how small the ball is. Five five and a half feet - Two) and three It smelled like paint thinner as soon as I opened the package. A day later, the smell had gone but not completely. My pregnancy is 39 weeks and I'm wishing this ball will cause me to go.
I have really enjoyed using this birth ball thus far. I'm only in my second trimester, my 2nd pregnancy, so I am experiencing a lot more aches and pains such as hip and sciatic nerve pains. Just 30 minutes a day on this ball is effective. It comes with a book that is nice, but I thought it would be a bit larger. A great addition to the set are the socks. There is a lot of thickness to this ball, and I would surely recommend it to anyone expecting.
I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received this product. Before I got a different ball which didn't work out well, I got a different type of ball. The Birth Ball was purchased with high hopes when it arrived in the box it came with cute socks (non skid), a manual pump, the Ball, and some techniques (which I might add were very clear and detailed), as well as My pregnancy was very convenient and convenient while sitting or leaning against the ball. The ball is of great quality and was very comfortable. As my dog (Lab/Collie) jumped on my lap and knocked the ball against my lap, I was concerned that it might damage the ball but thank God it did not. It was the perfect price and quality for what we needed.
It shipped very quickly, with a booklet that is very informative and provides clear examples of where and how to use the different stages. A neutral color such as this would suit me well. Also, it seems pretty thick compared to a regular exercise ball you would find.
It has become a favorite of mine. The medication helped me deal with pelvic pain during my pregnancy. In the days leading up to my due date, I bounced on my body in order to assist in dilation and to position my baby I bounced during labor to encourage my baby into my pelvic region and lean over when contractions were strong so labor could be strong and quick. Since my newborn prefers to lay on this ball than on the ground, I use it to do tummy time with her. The pregnancy ball helped me have a shorter and easier labor, and I will forever be grateful for that. This is a must-read for anyone interested in health and fitness.
