I'm clueless when it comes to replacement covers. The box was too light and unstable for me, so I returned it.
Extremely firm, similar to what you'd expect if you jumped on a wooden box with a thin layer of cushioning on top. I suppose how much the box moves depends on the surface it's on and whether you're coming down at an angle. It doesn't move at all when placed on carpet and falling straight down.
I'm not sure, but I don't believe that's the case.

This box is extremely light, large, and easy to transport. Unfortunately, box jumps are not stable at all. It almost tipped over on me because I'm 118 pounds. CrossFit box jumps aren't a good idea.
Box jumps are a breeze. I don't mind returning it because it's terrible for step ups. So I put a piece of solid plywood on top of it for when I do step ups so my foot doesn't sink in.
My home gym has gotten a lot better with this addition. It's very stable, and it's a lot easier to move around than other boxes I've tried. After opening the box, there was some offgassing, but it was mostly gone after a day in the garage with the window cracked. The various heights that can be achieved with this box make it ideal for step ups, box jumps, and as an inclined push up base. It appears to be well-made and very versatile.
Arrived on time and in excellent condition. I like how you can flip it to change the height of the box and how it's cushioned so your shin doesn't get scraped if you don't make the jump. It's fantastic at dealing with my and my boyfriend's constant abuse.
At first glance, it appears to be an expensive item, but you get what you pay for. It's well-constructed, durable, and long-lasting. This is a great addition to our home gym, and it gets a lot of use. After about two months of use, it shows no signs of wear. br>br>I brag about how nice it is to my friends when they see it in my basement. You're not going to be let down.
The quality is excellent. It's very simple to upgrade to a 20, 24, or 30 inch screen. My 9 and 11-year-old boys use it to supplement their workouts. The fact that it isn't made of wood appeals to me greatly. They push themselves, and I wouldn't let them try what they're doing on a wooden box. It also makes working out enjoyable for them. This is something I'm glad I purchased.
PYLO foam box in excellent condition. It's a little soft around the edges, but that's not a major flaw. A wooden box may be preferable if you plan to perform steps with heavy weights, but foam is much safer and easier on the knees. This item is well-made and suitable for use in a home gym.
It's the ideal complement to my home gym. Excellent value for the money, and it arrived promptly. I would strongly suggest it.
