Questions & Answers

Is this box completely closed on all four sides or only on three?

My cube is a closed cube with plywood on all six sides. 20", 2- 24" & 30".

Is there a total of three internal braces in the box?

Hello Anthony, There are two internal braces on our 20/24/30 plyobox. I'm a 250-pound guy, so my plyobox is incredibly powerful. br>Inside the box, the internal braces fit mortise and tenon style into the outer sections, providing significantly more strength than simply fitting loosely inside the box. br>If you have any additional questions, please let me know. )br>Jasonbr>Plyo Box (Jasonbr>Jasonbr>Jasonbr>Jasonbr>Jasonbr>J

Do you have any idea when you'll be able to get more 16/20/24 boxes?

I'm sorry, but I don't have an answer for you. That would be a question for AMZN to answer. However, if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be. BUT THE QUALITY IS EXCELLENT
5/5

I ordered two—12/14/16 and 16/18/20—and have already put them to use with a variety of clients of various weights. The clients were carrying kettlebells weighing up to 44 pounds and performing step-by-step exercises. Not only do these boxes hold the weight, but they're also well-made. made and have an artisanal look to them They're excellent- looking. When not in use, I stack the two and use them as a stand-alone workstation for my laptop, bluetooth speaker, and phone. They're also useful in modified or advanced pushup variations, as well as as a step-up exercise. Shorter clients can use a stool to help them reach the pull-up bar. up bar, and it can also be used to change those. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it or purchase it in additional sizes. I assembled them myself with the help of a rubber mallet, a drill with a phillips head screwdriver attachment, and the large number of screws included in the package. It also comes with a full tube of wood glue. The entire assembly time for each box was less than fifteen minutes. br>br>My ONLY criticism is that the seller went above and beyond to ensure that I left a five-star review. Each package comes with a flyer, as well as daily emails, encouraging you to leave a 5-star review and to contact them before leaving a negative review if something goes wrong. To leave a review, you only need to ask me once. It's no longer about me, the happy customer, after that. It's all about the seller's reputation and how I can help them market themselves. I understand that bad reviews can turn off dozens of potential customers, but this company can rely on the solid quality of their product and nag me a little less to support them through my review.

Box jumps of 12" and 14" will work fine, but not 16" - there isn't enough My review is for the box that came out on December 14, 2016
4/5

It's important to remember that - The larger boxes, on the other hand, are unlikely to face the same issues. At first, I was taken aback by how small the box turned out. Then I thought about it some more, and it'll be that small for a 12/14/16 box, of course. Sorry if this is excessively long, but I wanted to include information that would have been useful to me when deciding on this box. br>br>I wanted a box that would allow me to gradually increase the height of my box jumps for Crossfit. For box jumps of shorter heights, they only have 18" or 20" boxes. None of those heights are within reach for this lady. So I needed something I could do at home to practice and build my confidence. At this point, the 12" side is perfectly acceptable. My feet (size 8) have plenty of room. 5 women). The landing space on the 14" is smaller, and the landing space on the 16" is terrifying. After I master the 14", I'll need to buy a new box. I'm not going to use the 16" side unless it's for step-ups because there's too much room for error if you hit a corner and fall. Take a look at the photos in size 8. 5 pairs of women's running shoes to see how large the landing pad is (or isn't). br>br>It took me about half an hour to put it together. the following items are required: A rubber mallet, a power drill, sand paper, a hammer, and a square-shaped drill bit are all required. That's the first time I've ever seen a bolt head like that - with a square (as seen in the photos) Fortunately, I had one odd square bit in my drill bit box. A flat head or Phillips head bit will not work in this situation. There were FOUR extra screws (does that make sense?). ) and I didn't use the wood glue that came with the kit (it was too difficult to put the pieces together AND use the glue at the same time). Although there were no instructions in the box, the supplier did send me a pdf before it arrived. br>br>To put this together, you'll need a rubber mallet. Without it, there's no way it'll all come together. I followed the directions, but two of the sides with handles were turned the wrong way up. I'm not going to change it because it's already put together. It will go together fairly well with the rubber mallet, but if you use the included glue, it will go together much more quickly. Be aware that the pounding will most likely cause glue to fly all over the place. If you hit the side of one of the insert pieces, it will break (as shown in the photo). Because the box contains a large number of screws, make sure your drill battery is fully charged. I did run into a problem with five bolts not drilling all the way through - Perhaps due to a tangle? The disadvantage of the square bolt head configuration is that if the screw does not go all the way down, you cannot back it out. I attempted to remove them with pliers but was unsuccessful. The problem was later resolved with the use of a hammer. Before putting the box together, I lightly sanded the corners and handles. Overall, I like this box for what I want it to do: br>br> Assist this forty-something woman in gaining confidence in box jumps so she can join the big kids at Crossfit. However, in order to reach the 16" height, I'll need to purchase a larger box at some point. because I don't believe it'll be suitable for box jumps I'm 5'5" tall, 120 pounds, and a size 8 woman. 5 shoe. If your feet are larger than that, you may require a different size box. The price was acceptable, the shipping was prompt, and the supplier sent out pleasant customer service emails. Photos - br>br> For scale, place a one gallon bucket of paint next to it. As I previously stated - It's a teeny-tiny package!.

It's simple to put together and is well-made
5/5

My plyo box (16/20/24) was in good shape. pre-cut and properly prepared drilled. The screws were 2" long, and extras, as well as the appropriate drill bit, were included. I put it together using the excellent instructions and only a small ratcheting screwdriver (shown) and my own weight to press the pieces flush. I'm a normal-sized woman who isn't a woodworker, but it couldn't have taken me more than 30 minutes, owing to my inability to locate my drill. I found it easiest to begin by connecting the puzzle pieces of the sides flat against the ground, pressing them together with my knees, and leaving enough wiggle room to hinge them upright after they were already connected, then pressing them flush with my body weight. You'd also need a rubber mallet (which I couldn't find because I was too careless). ) This plyo box doesn't have internal braces like some others, but it's still quite sturdy. After doing some research on the subject, I came to the conclusion that reinforcement was likely overkill. It'd be extremely difficult to break this thing. As another reviewer mentioned, I did not receive a tube of glue in my package, which is fine because it is not mentioned in the product specs, but it would have been nice to see it mentioned (as an option) in the instructions, as I would have glued mine if I had thought of it. As I previously stated, I am not a skilled builder.

Excellent Craftsmanship / Easily 5 Stars
5/5

In the last month, I've purchased a total of two boxes. This is unquestionably superior to the previous one in terms of quality. I wish this was the company that sold the first one I bought. br>Things I found appealing. 1) Dovetail joints are extremely tight. To put them together, I had to use my rubber mallet, which is exactly what I expected to happen. There were gaps in my other box. br>2) The screws are of excellent quality. br>3) Included a drill bit for installing them. br>4) The counter sunk holes were all the same depth and size. br>5) The edges were nicely beveled. Things I didn't like. br>1) N/Abr>br>I've done a lot of woodworking in my time, and if I made this box, I wouldn't hesitate to tell people I made it and be proud to show it to them. br>br>In comparison to other boxes, the price is very reasonable, and the quality is outstanding.
