Questions & Answers
According to the description, the clamps are about 2" wide each and are relatively light in weight. So far, the clamps have performed admirably.
The clamps are made to hold 2 inches of material. For the first time, the grip won't be too tight. The bar is 9 inches wide.
The clasp is extremely strong, with a rubber interior. I believe it would last for a long time, but would eventually fail due to weight loss over time. Steel vs. plastic is a debate that has been going on for quite some time

I purchased these because they appeared to be the most straightforward to adapt for use on a 1. They hold the weight on with no modifications, which surprised me. They're not super tight, but a 25lb plate doesn't slip it and pulling on it doesn't move it.
These were part of a set with another. Because they open wide in place rather than clamping and releasing, these are clearly superior. I prefer metal hinges to plastic ones as well. Clamped on the plates and tried to slide them, but they wouldn't budge.
So far, the clamps have served me well. It's a lot easier than using the old screw-down or spring-loaded clamps. If they lose their, I'll let you know. the ability to clamp.
Because I misplaced my previous clamps, I purchased these. I have to say that these clamps are excellent. Because they open wide in place rather than clamping and releasing, they are clearly superior.
Quick. Silent. It fastens securely and snugly. The weights didn't move a millimeter. I like how fast the release is. Lightweight and silent (the rubber lining helps to eliminate clanging noises).
I have to say, these clamps have impressed me. For deadlifts, they do an excellent job. We'll be purchasing more! br>br>.
My husband and I both enjoy weightlifting, so I've used a lot of clamps in the past. These are my favorites because they are simple to put together but extremely durable. They also don't snap when you remove them, which is a plus because some of the ones I've had in the past have snapped when you unlock them. Overall, these are my favorites and would recommend them.
These, which resemble vicegrips, seem to last a long time. It's not necessary to put them on. They are very easy to secure. When lifting heavier weights, you'll feel more confident.
