In addition to running, I have used mine twice since I received it 2 days ago. With my first attempt I was able to get in about 20 jumps, and with my second try I got in close to 40. In addition to feeling the burn in my entire body, my eyes burned as well. The rope hasn't been able to be turned, I've seen complaints. In order to prevent this, ensure you keep your elbows pressed into your side while turning, like the young lady in the video provided in the previous review. will make it easier and will lead to more repetitions. It is my goal to grow stronger and more endurance so that I will possess more jumping ability.

Due to the size and weight of this rope, I was concerned it may be too light considering its thickness. As soon as I used it as a jump rope, I realized I had underestimated the force being exerted. Since it is a tough workout but not impossible, it has been fun to build the shoulder and back muscles necessary to do it regularly.

There would be a lot of benefit to this rope if the gloves covered your fingers when using it or didn't burn your fingers when you first use it.
