The length of the body is ideal; I have a long torso and it fits perfectly. 2xl is almost tall. The weight is ideal, as it is medium heavyweight rather than SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT. To be that, it would have to be 18 ounces. It only weighs 12 ounces. But that doesn't bother me at all. The only criticism I have is that the ribbed polyester runs down both sides of the shirt, creating a texture contrast and making the sweatshirt less solid. The front and back are solid and do not stretch, while the cuffs and underarms have a ribbed texture and stretch. This polyester is also a little scratchy. Maybe a couple of washes will take care of the issue.
Thick as a slice of Chicago deep dish pizza, but warm in the middle like a New York pizza. I'm hoping it's not the small stuff that makes you sweat in this sweater.

I ordered the x-large because he normally wears a large. large in order to prepare for drier shrinkage Although it is a little large, it has served me well thus far.
While they're a little bigger than comparable brand sweatshirts in the same size, they fit well and the colors don't bleed after multiple washes.

It's the best-made sweatshirt I've ever bought, and I've bought a lot of sweatshirts from well-known brands. I intend to buy another because it is a good fit for him.
This fulfills all of the requirements! We've washed it several times and it still holds its shape and doesn't shrink! This product comes highly recommended.
I figured it would do well based on the ratings, and it did. It fits me a little big, but not too big, and it didn't shrink much after washing, if at all. I'm going to order another, but I'm not sure if I should go down a size or order the same size.
