Hi, my son is nine years old and he's skinny. If youth small is not too small for him, what size do you suggest?

had to order a youth xl because it looked too small for my 13-year-old to fit, but he tried it on and absolutely If I were to order, I would do so. The medium setting is good for your son. I really think that a medium would be the best fit for him. He will grow into it if it is too big though.

Are there any sizes covered by small?

In this case, I ordered a small and it fits perfectly for a young boy who is almost 8 and 53" tall. It is estimated he wears a size 8.

In the case of a 10/12, is that a medium or a large?

I think it really comes down to weight and height. The average kid today is bigger than that of other children their same age or even a decade ago. He is 14 years In my experience, the large was a good size for my son at 54". A very little shrinkage was also observed. It may be of help to you.

The top is very nice. My son told me the material was comfortable during inclement weather, but I would like it to be a little thicker during cold weather It is a problem with the door.
