Exactly the same thing occurred to me when I purchased mine, so I went to The Stearns flotation. The Amazon fabric series names are not generally used, but you can determine whether you are looking at a low, mid, or high end fabric by checking out the fabric descriptions in the item description. Thanks for reading, and I hope this This is a woven polyester fabric with a sea turtle print on it, which is the "Deluxe" item that Amazon lists in the listing My son loves it and I have not had any complaints about it chafing on his skin. It is part of their mid line.
I purchased this for my granddaughter, who weighs 22 pounds and is 2 years old. Her weight is accommodated well.
Definitely, but it must be air dried
You will not have to worry about the jacket being too big for your child.

There is one major difference Coleman has taken over production of the Puddle Jumper since 2008, after making tents, other camping gear, and other gear for decades. They cut corners and altered the production process while they were doing it, so the product turned out to be In the pattern section of the shop, you will see the word "Stearns" on the arm that means The only ones with the Coleman logo are the ones with "Puddle Jumper" on both arms. The buckle is different, the inside diagram is different, the stitching is different (loose threads all around), and either they have increased the ratio of fabric to filler, or they have cut down the filler to 1/3 its original size. It is more likely to be Due to the jumper being loose (filler jostles between fabric and filler instead of being hugged), the amount of filler has been decreased. This results in a more looser fit as well. It would be best if you were able to obtain an original copy. You may choose to use a larger child if your child lies at the larger end of the 30-pound range It seems the Coleman could hold a 50-pound weight limit since it is looser fitting. It is definitely not for those over 30 Nevertheless, it is a 35 lb crowd. From 2- we have the Stearns one with the Hawaiian flower print That works just as well as it did 3 years ago! This is an example of the new Coleman ones, with visible loose threads as well as new packaging and buckles. It is high quality and fits my 2 year old like a glove, so I returned this one and bought the regular (not deluxe) Puddle Jumper with starfish to replace it.
The kids love it for our little mermaid. She is 18 months old and weighs Having a baby raft was hard for us this summer since she wanted to splash around with the big kids and hated the baby ones. I'd like to start with the first four After five times of using it, we taught her to keep her head up and held her in our arms. She was able to float freely after that and got the hang of it! Even with all her weight leaning back, even though her face can get in the water, she still stays upright. As she gets stronger, she remembers to lean back and even leaning all the way back she Our above-ground pool has a heater. When we're hanging out outside or near the pool, she's able to keep it on and still It would be a great gift idea for every child who swims. However, since the back buckle tightens very tightly, the sling fits properly even though she is below the recommended weight range for this.
I purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old (about 32 pounds). It fit well around her chest (which I was able to adjust properly) and around her arms. Once submerged in the water, the chest piece floats up (obviously), but once it pushes up under her neck, it chokes her. As it is now, it would be more useful if it had been equipped with a belt that buckled under the child's legs, like the new one we just bought.
It was disappointing to have the mermaid vest come in such poor quality for my youngest daughter. On the arms, there were a lot of loose threads and sloppy stitching. It was worse when I couldn't flatten the unusual bulge on the inside of the vest. The material/foam kept slipping out of areas I tried to flatten, which made me worried it could hurt my baby. I'm wearing my second puddle jumper, and we're not as happy with this one as our old one. Additionally, I wondered if it could be a fake, however I see that someone else has complained about the mermaid one, so perhaps the quality isn't as good here. The item will be returned to you.
Make sure you read the fine print! In the above listing it's listed as Stearns Puddlejumper. As far as I am concerned, you are getting a knock off china made product. If that's what I wanted, I would have ordered from China. Considering that it took forever to get and leave for Europe, it was a big disappointment. That's it! Now I need to find a real one and figure out how to return this stupid.
Due to how I was treated, I will have to give it back. I am really disappointed. It has been only a month since we've been using it and I just realized how small the holes for the arms are. The gloves are too tight for my daughter, who is an average-size toddler. Her arms lose circulation when she wears them. You don't need to believe me. Our product is not usable, and I think we got it wrong. This one is too small. I had another product from the same brand that was fine, but this one is It was a very disappointing experience, and now I realized that I was losing money.
In addition to being fond of water, my daughter also loves She loves it so much that she has no hesitation about jumping in on the first chance she gets. Before, we tried using a life jacket for an infant/toddler in the pool, but they are just too bulky and heavy for her to enjoy the water. This is when we learned of the Puddle Jumper product. After purchasing one, it took only 1 day during which we tried to get her used to the device. Her screams, tears, and wailing about how much she hated it were heard during that time. As soon as the next day came, she knew she had to put it on if she wanted to go swimming. She now tolerates putting it on without issues. It keeps her afloat in swimming pools and I have the peace of mind of knowing that she can swim without me holding her 100% of the time. Word to the wise, however don't leave her unattended for too long. Since I'm unsure what kinds of malfunctions could or would occur with these devices but the last thing you want is to have something I found once that my daughter lay on her back on the ground after she lay on her back due to the construction of the Puddle Jumper. Those actions caused her to be unable to stand (think Ralphie's brother in the snowsuit). Her cries for help came from the fact that she couldn't get up or roll The funny part was I got a slight chuckle out of it. I didn't realize how much of a monopoly Stearns has on the market for baby/toddler/kid life jackets until I actually bought one for my own child. Stearns Puddle Jumpers are so ubiquitous that I have seen them at nearly every swimming pool I've ever been to. I would recommend this if you have a toddler or kid who enjoys swimming.
