I've had no problems with the locking mechanism in the three months that I've been using the paddle. The paddle is my favorite part.
We've only had these for a few days - Yes, up to this point. It's a nice feature that it can be adjusted. The paddle is locked or clamped at the desired length by a flap in the center. When the paddle is locked in place, it does not move.
I got 35. For the 240-calorie version, 6 oz is required. One with a length of 250cm
We use it for fishing, and I keep it in my lap at all times. My kayak paddle holder, however, is what I use most of the time.

This is the one I finally chose, and I'm glad I did. This is a fantastic paddle and a fantastic deal. It is deserving of its rating of four stars. 7 rating. It's comparable to an aquabound Sting Ray fiberglass in terms of quality, weight, and pull, but it's longer (240-480 inches). The adjustment mechanism allows for both a 10cm length range and full 360-degree feathering, and it appears to be clearly superior to a snap lock. Lightweight, strong, flutter-free, and drip-free, it's ideal for low-angle paddling, especially in wider kayaks, as well as touring. Although a larger blade would be required for more power in rougher waters, it is light weight and can paddle all day without fatigue. The adjustment allows me to use the longer paddle when my knees are spread over the kayak's edges, and it also allows me to share it with my wife, who requires a shorter paddle. My only criticism is the same as what I read in reviews prior to purchasing - the sybmiosa design is an emblem on the indigo-colored one This is a fantastic paddle in general.
I just tried out this paddle for the first time yesterday, and I really like it. It's very light, and I like that it can be adjusted. I was undecided about whether 240 or 250 would be sufficient. 250 appeared to be the magic number. For the money, it's a fantastic paddle. Light and airy. We'll see how well it holds up under pressure.
EDIT: It's been great for the past few months!.
The paddle is fantastic value for money; it's stiff and has no flex. This paddle is the perfect size for my yellow 1995 prijon seayak 16 footer, which looks like a giant banana, and I have no complaints about it! br>Recent changes: Even after all these years, it's still a fantastic touring paddle. I decided to upgrade to a Werner Shuna Carbon after switching to a high angle style of paddling and learning a lot of advanced maneuvers. The blade shape and size are almost identical to pelicans' blades, which surprised me. The main distinction is the pelecian's spine, which runs at a 90-degree angle to the blade's back. I've paddled in 30mph winds for over an hour, used the blades to push off of rocks and gravel, and have had no complaints with the pelican! I've seen a lot of negative feedback on here, but I believe it's either bad luck (I just got a paddle made on Friday) or people who are either inexperienced or just want to pick on others! I'm going to keep this paddle as a backup or a loaner for when a friend needs one. It's a keeper!.
First, there's the disadvantage. The connecting piece can be adjusted, but it necessitates the use of a Phillips head screwdriver, so I always keep one on hand when using this paddle. Keep this in mind so your blade doesn't slide around on you. br>br>The advantages. It's light and easy to dip into the water. I don't need to wear gloves when kayaking because the handle isn't as slick as some of my other paddles. This is a lovely design. Strong enough to launch from the boat dock. For those who have shoulder problems, it's adequate.
This is a great paddle—I use it about once a week for three hours in the Newport Bay; it's adjustable, and despite the lack of a grip, my hands don't slip (unless I've just applied sunscreen). ) Inside, water does not slosh around, and the shields are mostly functional. I'm 5'11" and chose the shorter paddle because I prefer it. Out there, I'm feeling incredibly dexterous! Get it or save money by using it as a backup. When it's not wet, the clasp is secure, but it releases easily. Love it!.
These are fantastic paddles, and the best value for money. It's light, simple to adjust, and the no-drip feature is fantastic. I'm very pleased with these paddles, and I'm glad we were able to save some money by purchasing them.
This paddle's length can be adjusted in a variety of ways, which I like. I wish there was a feathering degree gauge near the length adjustment gauge.
This paddle has only been in my possession for a few weeks. When I first used it, I noticed that one side of the paddle was perfectly round (around the hand grip area), while the other side was squished. When I went to use it the second time, I noticed that one of the screws connecting the latches was missing, so it no longer connects tightly. I've never spent more than $40 on a paddle before, so I assumed that because I paid $100, it would be of good quality; however, I was unaware that I had paid $60 for graphics.
