No, this is just plain PVC fabric, Chief. To join them, you'll need PVC glue. Regards, Mike br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>
No, PVC pipe glue should not be used to secure these vinyl d rings to your inflatable boat. Go to your local hardware store and look for a glue that can be used on rubber and pvc fabrics, as I did. Before you use it, make sure it has had enough time to cure.
It's definitely light grey, as if it came from a newspaper.
Without a doubt. Just make sure you get the right adhesive; I'd double-check with West Marine to ensure it'll stick to Hypalon.

To be fair, I purchased these with the intention of using them as anchor points for a canoe - This is not a flexible inflatable, but a hard surface. If that's your goal, I'd advise you to look elsewhere. As you can see in the photo, the bottoms are uneven, and because of their sturdy construction, getting them flat enough to glue effectively has proven difficult. I gave up and am harvesting the steel D-rings instead. I decided to make my own rings out of some scrap material I had on hand. br>br>The second image shows a product that is much more appropriate for my needs. Instead, if you're outfitting a canoe, I recommend this style. br>br>However, they have a very solid feel to them. I have no doubt they would perform admirably if I were to sew them to something. Although I don't own an inflatable boat, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the quality if you can glue them down.
This is a terrible product, and you should not purchase it. The patch's edges kept curling up and wouldn't stick. After attempting to install these, I completely ruined my board.
It's a great product that's simple to put together and holds up well once it's in place. I put them on the bows of both of my inflatable paddle boards so that I could attach an extra handle to easily lift them into and out of the water from the stern of my sailboat. As a backup, I'll most likely purchase another set. RHIB dinghy with a down option. I would strongly suggest it.
They appear to be well-made, similar to my Tower iSUP d- Pads for rings br>I went out and bought some D- Before, I purchased rings pads from a different seller, and they appeared to be low-quality and poorly constructed. I installed them on my iSUP, and while they appear to be cheap, they are still functional. Because of the high quality, these will appear to have been installed by a factory. Additionally, the cost was very reasonable. Thank you very much.
On my inflatable kayak, I use D rings to secure my gear. HH- The 66 glue worked perfectly (on a PVC kayak). do not try to save money by using a different adhesive). Appear to be well-built and strong enough to withstand the stress and stick to the task at hand. br>Because the back side is a little irregular (not flat), careful attention and expertise are required to properly adhere these.
A 250-pound person can sit in these rings. guy incredibly well I am very pleased with the quality of the product, which took time, attention, and care to produce.
155/1000", as well as. It took only two days for it to arrive. They haven't been attached to the boat (a PVC RIB) yet- Waiting for warmer weather, but these appear to be well-made heavy-duty D rings with thicknesses ranging from 150 to 200 microns. It has a 155/1000" rating and is mildly magnetic. I believe 304 is not magnetic, which could be a concern; however, I am not a metallurgist, so if you are concerned, you should do some research. Once I get it on the boat and into the salt water, I'll update this.
