Questions & Answers
To fit through the hole, the cable must be just cable on the male end; it cannot be thicker than most cables.
The lock should be able to accommodate cables with a diameter of 1/2".
It should fit as long as the paddle shaft has a standard diameter like a standard SUP paddle. However, since a three-piece paddle is likely to come apart, I'm not sure how well it would protect the paddle if the paddle parts could be disassembled and the lock simply slid off.
The lock should be able to accommodate paddles of any diameter. The paddle opening (diameter) is approximately 1 and 3/8" wide when the lock is completely closed.

Because the dockslocks paddle lock was too big for my paddle, I used non-slip shelf liner instead. Because my paddle is adjustable and can be taken apart, I am able to lock it tightly on the shaft where the paddle can be taken apart, which makes the lock more secure. br>Alternatively, you could use a non-slip carpet pad. br>At this point, my paddle is firmly in place.
Simple to work with. This is the best method I've found for securely locking a paddle and connecting it to the same lock as a SUP.
It's a bit pricey, but it's exactly what you're looking for.
It worked flawlessly.
However, I had to return it because it was unable to secure a two-piece (detachable) kayak paddle.
