They're not designed for this. Use them to secure a cooler or other items in your kayak.
Yes, it must be the smallest; however, if it does not fit, you can get a metal ring that fits on luggage and attach the carabiner to that.
The straps do not come with the bag. However, we sell some straps with our logo that are less expensive than those with the YakAttack logo.
So, in my opinion.

Everything I've owned from them has been of consistently high quality. I use these on the accessory rails of my Vibe Sea Ghost to keep my wheeled kayak cart in place during transport as well as to clip shock cord tethers for cameras and fishing gear in case of an accidental spill over the side. I wouldn't use them to secure a kayak during transportation because of the bolt attachment to the rail, but they work great as a quick attachment point.

To my Jackson Coosa HD, this is a great addition. These fit perfectly in the rear tank well gear track and comfortably accommodate my Pelican cooler. Everything I have ever purchased from yak attack has 100% satisfied me. The products are of good quality and have been well thought out.
If you need to use a strap on your kayak cart, these are perfect: I just slide the straps through the holes and off I go! They've also been outfitted with a minnow bucket, bungee straps, and other accessories. If you have the tracks on your yak, they are strong, well-made, and extremely useful.
At the moment, I'm wearing straps with a quick release connector. During a tip over, it will keep a light to medium-weight cooler in place. I'm not sure about a heavy Yeti cooler (loaded), but as soon as the weather permits, I'll try a controlled inversion and report back on the results.
They're perfect for securing my black pack to my kayak with on my gear track. My kayak is also secured to the back of my truck with these straps. Simply thread the straps through them, and my kayak is securely fastened.
as well as being costly. Retension straps were used to tether my crate to my kayak, which was a simple concept that met my needs. Although a little expensive for what you get, there were no other options available at the time.
This item is exactly what it appears to be, and it is extremely useful. This product is exactly what it appears to be; there isn't much to it, which is a good thing. I use these tie downs in the back of my fishing kayak to secure my cooler to the boat because bungee cords aren't strong enough to hold a fully loaded cooler in place. If I flip, I'll have a full cooler with me in the boat.
