Yes, there is a single pack as well as a double pack. x 2 refers to a two-pack.
No, it's just a single piece. On one end, there is an elastic ring, and on the other, there is a Velcro strap. The pictures are just to show you how many different ways you can use it, not that there are multiple in the package.

My previous one was nearly twice as long and was useful for securing the kayak to the shore when you exited. This one is fine for paddling, but it makes it difficult to get out of the kayak while still holding it.
It was advertised as a two-pack, so I ordered it. It was only a single, as it turned out. Save your cash and go somewhere else to shop.
These paddle leashes are, on the whole, very good. My only complaint is that the velcro attachment isn't longer enough to wrap around the paddle more completely. If you flipped in a river current, I believe it would un-flip. Velcro is simple to use. I'm not sure if it would or not, and I hope I don't have to find out.
It was a bummer that only one person showed up. Every image depicts two people. I wasn't sure if this was for 1 or not. I despise it when I suspect someone is lying to me. I went out and bought another one, but I wasn't happy with it. The quality appears to be satisfactory; I will provide an update once I have used it.
My expectations for this bungee-style paddle holder were exceeded. Not only can I use it for my kayak paddle, but I can also use it to attach it to my fishing pole! I believe I will purchase a second so that I can do both.
It is simple to use and has plenty of length. If you want to keep your belongings safe, this is a good option.
I had a second leash that was just as strong as the first. It did, however, have some hard plastic parts that made quite a racket when they collided with the kayak while paddling. Today was my first time using a Neolife leash. Ahhhh . Everything was calm and quiet.
It's well-made. The visibility is extremely high. However, they are too long and dangle in the water while I fish, drenching me every time I begin paddling. Instead, I'd look for something with a retractable cord like the one found on old telephones. Something with no cover over the bungee/retractable section. I hope this information is useful to you in making your decision.
