Yes, I thought it was long enough. You also don't want to be fishing a long line of rope to find your paddle if you drop it or roll over.
3 feet in length Will be able to stretch out another foot with ease. So far, we've only tried it in our kayak once, and it seemed long enough.
A carabiner is included in each leash.

a card in the deck I use about 9 kayaks while touring, with one each for the paddle, cooler, and deck. phone and a knife navi- in this case, the weather a fishing rod, a fishing net, and a creel – tackle box and bag- box. Exceptionally long lasting. br>br> None of the 18 have failed or been lost in two years of saltwater abuse; the beaners do not corrode, and the elastic stays stretchy for years. br>br>I've bought at least 21 of these for the family's various boats. I shudder at the thought of the money and safety that would have been sacrificed in paddles, coolers, and other gear; we play rough, and a lot of stuff would have gone overboard in rough conditions. br>br>The loop end connects to a rod, paddle, case, or cooler in seconds. The clips can be quickly attached to an anchor strap, and an H-shaped loop can be looped through the clips. A rail or even a chair could be used. The clips' long span allows you to attach them to anchors with unusually large diameters. Unlike other reviews, this one - Having straps on everything onboard is inconvenient at best. They're a lot better than static-based systems. lanyards with a line The elastic sheaths are durable, and shrinkage reduces deck clutter to about half of static lines.
These are the leashes that I bought. One holds my fishing pole, while the other holds my paddle. These are extremely well-made items. They do not come undone unless you purposefully undo them, as advertised. When tightening to an object, you don't get the feeling that it's going to snap or fall apart like you do with big-box store leashes. stores that sell big boxes These are built to last, and I'll be purchasing more as needed.
I'm an old-school paddler, so even if they're designed for paddling, I'm not going to use them. I'm on a timer, and anything on the paddle I'm using is obstructing my progress. However, I know how difficult it is to paddle up a creek or river without one, which is why I use the leash. They're also good for securing fishing poles in my solo canoe when I'm trolling.
These are extremely effective. I use one to keep my paddle in place, and it doesn't get in the way and gives me plenty of room. They're simple to use on anything you'd like to keep in your kayak. They still look brand new after being submerged in salt water multiple times.
This leash is quiet and long enough to give your dog plenty of room to move around. In my opinion, they are superior to the coiled stretchy ones. A metal carabiner is far superior to a cheap plastic carabiner. It's slim and fits through various eyelets and handles on the kayak, making it extremely versatile; time will tell if it rusts, but I won't be using it in salt water, so that shouldn't be an issue.
The length is ideal. These leashes are of the highest possible quality. With their wrinkled / bungee-like exterior, they cinch around our paddles like a dream. I've seen other leashes, but these are by far the best!br>br>UPDATE 8/9/19. We only ordered 3 more in a three-pack because they've been so popular. Still of the highest caliber!.
One of them serves as a paddle leash for a sit-up. a large sit-on-top kayak and an interior kayak kayaking at the highest level They work great and are long enough unless you're paddling while standing up. It has a great grip on rods. Snap- It's a nice, big link that's simple to use. I inadvertently disconnected one from the leash while changing anchor points, so it was almost too easy. USA.
These are fantastic. The bungee function keeps them more organized on the kayak, but the stretch isn't great enough to prevent them from using the leashed item. My stake out pole is probably my favorite application. The stretch absorbs the shocks from the waves, making staying attached to the stake a pleasurable experience.
