Questions & Answers

What is the maximum diameter of the line we can ?

The maximum size is 5/8, but you can go down to whatever you want. It isn't until you reach 3/8" line that you really find success.

For a 26 how big would the frame need to be. The 5ft cabin cruiser can sleep up to four people Should I order a standard size or an XL size? What advice would you give me? Thanks! ?

The size I have is standard, and I use it on a 23' Sea Ray. You need to also consider what to do with it once you have Eventually it will extend some distance, I can't remember exactly how far I have reached but I am sure it is at least 10' or more I hope

I'm not sure which loop size will be easier to snag a piling. Does 16" work better? Will it snag on cleats if it is too floppy?

The file is not floppy in the least. The frame stays fairly rigid, so you can easily snag a piling or cleat with it. It is important to determine what size should be used based on the size of the piling you are using. Hopefully you will have better luck if you go with the bigger size on the fence. The larger loop won't hurt you in any way.

In what diameter is the ?

The crew member who takes out the useless friends or family member as the crew member who docks the ship
5/5

It is a must-have for anyone who tends to take their boat out solo, or plans to take a friend/family member on the boat who is relatively ineffective when it comes to You can also tell everyone to stay out of your way while you take care of it while you tell them to sit down. It's nice to have on windy days when docking can get iffy while I've gotten good enough this year at docking not to use it as much, it's always nice to have. The price may seem high but the quality of the boat reflects that. I think the medium size with the standard loop will satisfy the needs of most boaters. Except when it comes to big pilings you have to grab, I don't see the need for a larger loop.

There is a discrepancy between the lengths listed and the actual length
3/5

I really like the product, but the lengths given in the description are When I ordered the medium, I thought it would be 3' long (as listed), but when it arrived it was much longer from tip of handle to end of hook. The seller has not listed the actual length collapsed and the actual length when fully extended (not including the loop), so I wouldn't recommend buying this product. My extension ended up being about 54" collapsed and 84" extended, which is way too much for a small boat like mine. This problem might also be caused by incorrect grammar used in their description, leading me to believe they meant a Medium pole to measure.

This boating accessory is very useful
5/5

The one I had was great. My favorite part of the novel was the ending. Therefore, I bought a second one. In a river marina, we dock our pontoon boat where it can sometimes be difficult due to the current. The number of two has increased. The person up front uses the longer one to grab the forward cleat and pull us up and in, while I (or someone else in the rear) use the shorter one to grab the rear cleat and pull us tight against It was only if I could have loved how the whole thing floated, but not the looped part. There was an incident where a person thought she was loosening the pole so that it would be able to work longer, when in fact she was unraveling the looped end of This ship fell into the water with no hope of being rescued. It's definitely the result of user error, but it would be a great feature if you could also float in the event you experience an error like that.

A safe environment An environment that is stress-free This is a simple docking method
5/5

My 23 ft deckboat is the primary vessel I use for my sole excursions. In addition to being a stress reliever, this tool is a safe one The free market Catching the cleat and pulling the boat up to the dock is a simple process. I recently had an experience with heavy winds that pushed my boat away from the dock as I tried to angle it towards it. I was able to catch the cleat with the boat loop by extending the pole to its maximum length and pulling myself toward the cleat against the wind from quite a distance out. It's not hard. It would have been easy for this scene to go bad had we not had this tool.

Adding the loop to a standard boat hook was a brilliant move. So far, I have used it for one season of boating and just bought it this year. I found the rod and the rubberized hook to have durable construction and to be very strong. 5 stars for the solid performance!.

The company has a great product and is reliable
5/5

It is a great tool to use the boat loop. As we went through a lock, I noticed another boat using a boat hook to hook lines on the sides to ensure it did not move as it was docking. I had never thought about using a hook for anything other than moorings or items that had fallen overboard. My wife is almost always standing at the stern of our boat while we dock, which makes docking difficult for me. I felt that I was missing out on a big opportunity. The procedure works great, but I was lucky to run across the loop if I was unable to get the stern to swing just right. I haven't had any problems with the stern swinging but it can be difficult at times. The boat hook is much more than what you would expect. With the loop and post, you can push, pull, snag, or loop anything such as lines, docks, cleats, and The Boat Loop will probably be able to grab whatever feature is on a dock. On top of that, RS Marine has always delivered on its promises and their products are shipped promptly. I have handled them more than once because the boat loop is so handy to have on a variety of boats that I have used them on many of them.

Using loop for four times led to it falling off
3/5

This was purchased at the end of the previous I used it once last season and it worked well. three times this season and it popped off into the bay each time. It is no longer accessible. Sinking to the bottom, it is no longer accessible. There is no indication whether the screw unscrewed from the pole or if the screw came It seems like a waste to me to spend $120 on a pole I will never use. A seller says I need to go to their site for a replacement head. I guess I have to fork over another $70 for a replacement? I am stunned.

This is an important issue
5/5

As soon as I got this, my first thought was that it was overpriced, and I hoped I wasn't wasting my money. In fact, I was contemplating cutting off the loop after I had it on the boat a few days and it didn't look like a ridiculous piece of equipment. In the end, I was sidetracked and decided not to cut the loop as I had intended. On the Missouri River, I fished every day during the whole season and used this a number of times. As for the silly loop, I used it from time to time After a lengthy reflection now that the season is all but over, I found that this was a very helpful The fiberglass pole is exactly what I wanted. I wanted it to be superior to the cheap aluminum rods I had previously. I still find it a little silly in my rod holder, but I like how it helped push debris away from my boat and prevent me from having to loop around again because I could get a better catch in the current that way. I'd like to thank you for the great job done by the Boat Loop People.

The one to get is this one! A landing device this good is something we haven't seen before
5/5

No matter how strong the wind, it's a simple matter to loop the rope around the dock posts and pull the boat into position. Previously, we had another type of attachment that required a cording (not included) to form the attachment A loop that is called at the end of a Y-intersect The pole was shaped like an inverted U, but it was awkward and difficult to use, especially in It was also long and bulky, was impossible to collapse, and took up a lot of space in the storage room. We gave up on it after struggling with it for a year and ordered this one instead. I think this is exactly what we need! You can collapse it for easy storage, and it is easy to use. With good durability and versatility, it's very well made, the hook is quick and easy to use, and the bumper on the end of the pole helps push you off the dock when you're trying to approach. This is an excellent design in general. This one would have been great if we'd gotten it.
