Put the screw in the The plastic ends of your Bimini top will prevent this from working. It can be a tight fit if your metal ends are metal. Nevertheless, it is very well made, but the screws are terrible. Two of them snapped and the Phillips heads were stripped.

I don't think these screws are very good. One of the pre-installed pieces broke off during installation The drilling process. A stainless steel screw would probably be the best option.
