Does the 4" measurement refer to the length between the brackets on the top or to the length between the brackets on the bottom? There is no information on measurements in the picture. ?

The construction/finish is excellent

I liked the product a lot, there are no mounting screws but that's fine for me because I installed them with decking screws. I use it to tie up loose ends This is for para cord, 750#, which has a little more bulk, but is still relatively thin in comparison I found it perfectly suited to my needs.

Having a strong and secure foundation

Easy to install and strong, the cleats are a great option for a boat. Ropes on boats are held exceptionally well by these cleats. We were pleasantly surprised to find that a rope that was so thick fit under the cleat, despite what at first glance seemed to be impossible.
