The crimp is of poor A loose fit. As a second option, I also used a non-ratcheting manual crimper tool. It is evident that both failures occurred as they were both in production without failing to make a secure crimp. Has the batch been bad? It has returned.
They got the job done but had some minor problems. My experience using them on several different brands of switches led me to damage the switches trying to install the terminals. It was a bit difficult to get them on because the ends had to be spread out. Moreover, the heat shrink is too far away from the end of the spade. Then with a razor blade, trim the heat shrink so that the connection can be made after you have crimped and shrunk.
These are a little bit expensive, but they seal and can be crimped tight without breaking.
I use quality tools, and the crimp can be pulled off by hand with minimal force. These connectors won't hold 10G wire because they are very cheap and do not crimp the wire. They are unable to hold wire with 10G. The amount of force needed to grip a spade is even less.
Quite inconsistent, one will fit perfectly, the next one will be too loose, and the next will be too tight, so that it's almost impossible to wear.
Since they already have heat shrink applied, using the spade crimp connectors is a snap.
