There is no cover included with it.

Above the bus bar, how high does the stud protrude? The height is only given at a global level?

Three eighths or five eighths of an inch above the bus bar is my estimate. Please accept my sincere thanks.

Even though this was bigger than I was expecting, it is still the right size The price is reasonable. It appears to be more than adequate for 250A applications due to its heavy mass, good hardware, and good bus bar.
