As far as I can tell, pins 2 and 3 are connected in the wrong way. Connect the ground to pin 7 and the plus voltage to pin 2 of the connector. If you're turning on and off something (that's what's connected to pin 3), you use that as your load. When the switch is in on position, the LED should be off. When power is applied to pin 3, your circuit will be powered and the LED will be lit.

Red is the standard color but we have other colors available as well, such as blue, green, and yellow

It was not included with the switch a diagram of how it was to be wired. Can it be wired in a certain way?

In the Amazon image, pin 2 is shown as +12, pin 3 is shown as the load (what you are turning on/off) and pin 7 is shown Between pin 1 and pin 3 is a switch that turns ON/OFF the NO.

There is no doubt that it is counterfeit

I can tell it is a counterfeit product, but it works perfectly as a foglight switch on The package doesn't contain a circuit diagram, so it's not interesting. An extra sheet of paper and some toner would have cut into profits, I guess. The Amazon listing does not have a picture, but, instead, includes a picture Unlike the majority of knock-offs in the music industry, this one has a nice click to it, and engagement is positive.

This is a really good knock-off. I don't know if Amazon needs to crack down on this type of activity, but I do think it should be addressed. There is nothing else they have to do but change the name, stop taking credit from another company, and keep on selling the products.

Almost an exact replica of the originals, which are 20+ years old

A capped hole at the top of my boat's dashboard provided the perfect opportunity for an "aux" switch. This switch is nearly identical to the 20+ year old switches that are already in place on Style, size, and color are the same, but the texture of the surface is slightly different. The switch I have is hard plastic, whereas my original switches have a slight rubbery feel to them. It is not a complaint, but just a note. If you're not pointed out, it's hard to tell the difference. Happy with the service. I cannot comment on the water resistance of the device. These should be the same as the original switches, but I have not had them under water.

The appearance is good, but the schematic does not match

I have to find out what pin is Neg, what pin is Load, and what pin is Power, so this is a preliminary review. There is no schematic included and the labeling is poor. It was disappointing. The quality of the SR- series from Rigid Industries will be followed after installation (Surface) Model M Series Pro Light.

The form and function of the switch match a "Carling" The manufacturer of this product is not The seller contacted me and offered me either a replacement set of batteries or a full refund when one failed after a short amount of time. This company stood behind their product and sent me a refund when they failed to meet their promises.

It's amazement, and the switch feels way more stable than the stock OEM switch of the Carling brand. The rockers have a great sense of balance and a solid feel without the wobble/cheap feel of those silk screened or painted rockers you see everywhere. This is a highly recommended book.
