How many of the top lights are always on, but when the switch on the individual light is on, the bottom lights will also come ?

In normal operation, the larger top light is only turned on when the switch is set to the switch One light is always on and the other is always off.

are the main features of aluminium in this product and why would it be used? The product is a thin, ?

The panel is made of aluminium and has a thickness of 3mm. No, it's not a thin plastic that can be bent. There is enough hardness to use it.

The typical 2 position switch can be replaced with a 3 position switch, is that possible?

When I use the lights in my RV, I would like to turn off the automatically on lights and have them come on when I push the button? Can this be done?

You can find a wiring diagram for a rocker switch on the Internet. At the bottom, there is a small light with its own ground and power source. If you want them on or off, you can turn them In order to power the big lights at the top, the switch has a positive lead, but it is grounded. Whenever the switch is on, these will always be on if you connect them to the ground. Adding a switch labeled "panel lights" to my ground is what I intend to do

QUALITY IS POOR
3/5

THE WIRING PLAN IS POOR. It is imperative that you handle these switches with extreme caution. After installation, you need to update. It looks like things have gotten worse now. In what did they have in mind when they drafted The four switches are all connected by a common hot line. You are in big trouble if you plan to use these switches with more than one fused power source line. You will need to remove the blade style wiring connectors if you are going to change the prewired jumper sources. Since the blade locking hole on the switch is of poor quality and the connector tolerances are so tight, the force required to remove a connector is greater than the force required to physically pull the blade out of the In addition to being poor quality, they also prewire the four switches with a common hot lead - they're a complete disaster! Because of this, the switched circuits are unable to be fused In my original review, I stated that I was going to go ahead and purchase these (I already drilled the mounting hole in the panel) but I also left some warnings. In my inspection, I found two of the black ground wire crimps visually unsound, and indeed they did not pass a moderate wire pull test. As an engineer involved in avionics work, I am accustomed to inspecting things before installing them. There is a difference in diameter between the assembled ground wire and the wire itself The difference between 0. 40 in) and 2. 20 in. This is The height of the road is 60 inches. Lead b) hot. Crimping the Red wire into the female blade connector works well. This is not the case with the BLK. Because (Blk) wire (less the insulation) is small enough to fit in the side roll of the center crimp, almost all of it can be taken out. A crimp may have only broken through two strands of wire in one case. This will certainly not hold up under stress, even though it would pass the test. This BLK wire was designed to carry LED current, but I would imagine that it will not be durable in many uses. As part of my inspection, I removed the protective jackets from all of the BLK crimps and soldered them and then returned the jackets to the connectors. In each one I tested, the RED wire had sufficient diameter to make a good crimp. The wire is rated for up to 20 A and is the high current cable. It is a switch that I certainly would hesitate to use in high current applications.
There's one more thing to be aware of. A blade female connector had been detached from its blade using more force than was required to physically pull (rip) the blade out of the switch body in at least one instance It will fly away if left to its own devices. Since the mechanical plastic bond had been ripped apart within the switch body, I pushed it back in and tested the LED (again, it was a BLK lead). It worked, so I just put epoxy on the blade to help hold in the LED. Overall, this switch assembly does not receive high marks when it comes to This application is for a camper with no vibrations and no high duty cycle, and will be used in a low use, low current environment. Interestingly enough, I also hate returning things, so I have also decided to try it. You should not attempt to make the entry hole in this panel by disassembling the wiring and switch mount assembly. I followed a path that led down to the garden.

Screws are the only thing that isn't working
3/5

My golf cart looks great with this switch set, but I've got one problem - it takes up a lot of space. In the span of two months, four of the screws holding it in began to rust Is that so? Furthermore, it is a bit tricky to figure out how to wire it, since there are five posts on the back of each switch, two for lights (on only when switched on and one always on) and ground), and another two for switching the power to the device you want to control. Despite the fact that nothing is described about it, this is actually a very good thing. I would have given this a five if it weren't for the screws am looking for attention to detail, which seems very picky.

You shouldn't purchase it for the switches, but for the panel
3/5

Invest in a wire harness that is of good quality. As for the aluminum panel itself, that's fine the screws that go with it are black painted. However, one of them broke off while I was installing it (these are cheap screws). While my switches all worked when they arrived, I had a few terminals pull right out of them when I removed the cheap wire harness, like a few other reviewers here have reported. Please note that In order to remove the wire connector from the switch terminal, you must press down on a small tab on the connector. You will pull out a lot of the terminals from these switches if you do not press it down when taking the wire harness off. The switch quality of this panel will probably just be better than the switches I already have. A panel and a switch each get four out of five points. My hands are full with Wire harness 1/5, the crimp job on this harness is weak, the wires disconnect easily from the crimp connectors, which means I will solder my own harness to.

The quality of low-quality plastic makes it easy for it to break
3/5

The plastic is of low quality. There is a high likelihood of parts breaking. To install a blade wire connector with just a tug on the metal connector will break the entire assembly. It is concerning to me how high our failure rate is while camping remotely where breaking can have a significant impact on the quality of our My first thought would have been to get Eaton units as replacements for these were cheaper. Had I known how cheap these were made, I would have purchased them first. It does have a nice blue led, so it is nice to look at the night time.

An integrated locking tab is built into the factory spade connector! Many reviews mention that the tabs on the switches are easy to pull out
4/5

Under the plastic insulation I found a little lock tab hidden beneath the spade connector that made it easier to remove the factory installed connectors too. Pull up on the connector where I have shown in the photo and you will be able to easily remove it.

Has the functions that a switch is supposed to have
3/5

My preference would have been if the switches were packaged separately, meaning that they were not mounted on the panel with the Since the bolts were stuck, it was difficult to remove them and one of the pins was pulled out like so many others. Once I put it back in the switch worked, so I was able to use it, but now it's hit or miss sometimes, so I will need to replace it. I like the panel itself, but I didn't use it. The switches are fine and work, as are the LEDs, but the wiring is terrible. It would've been better if you didn't include the wiring, as I said. The seller should be aware of the following BE SURE TO PACKAGE EVERYTHING SEPARATELY AND WITHOUT FIRES! This will reduce the number of bad reviews and you will be doing yourself a favor.

It's only a matter of time before the quality becomes evident
3/5

There seems to be somewhat inefficient use of wire and crimp connectors with the daisy chain wiring that it comes with. Specifically, the connectors are kept in place with a unique method and are quite difficult to remove from the spade end of the switch connector. The 16 crimp connectors could be included in the package and then the users would simply have to wire Daisy chaining both sides of the switch saves you labor and wire costs, but it is not likely users will have both sides of the switch daisy chained at the same time.

It appears that half of the switches I bought were defective
3/5

Get out of the box and try it! A switch like this wouldn't be a good buy. The panel was a replacement for an old worn out one on my In addition to 2 of the switches LEDs being shorted to ON at all times, I tested the panel before installing any parts of it and found that it came prewired. When I removed the preinstalled harness, I pulled out the connector with the spade terminals on the switch. Because the preinstalled harness wasn't suitable for my switch application, I had to discard it. Overall, this can be summarized as follows The LEDs in half of the switches were always on due to a short. One half of the switches fell apart when the wire was removed from the actual switch.
