Changing the trim on your boat may get hot and melt them which leads to damage to your engine. We had an external trim switch on our boat back then. I have already gone through a few. All you have to do is let it cool off between uses.
As soon as the replacement switch arrived again it almost fell apart I'm done with this switch. I'm in need of a quality switch made from metal casing.
