I wanted a dry bag for kayak fishing and so began my research. It was first the reasonable pricing of Kast King's line of dry bags that caught my eye. The dry bags I picked up had a few extra features that were missing from other options at such a low price. My experience with it is summarized below. You would expect this type of material to be in any other dry bag. As opposed to my other dry bags, the seams on this bag are sealed particularly well, particularly at the bottom. Nevertheless, it was the shoulder strap included on a 20L bag that set it apart. Kast King 20L dry bags stand out from the crowd because of one particular feature. A brief explanation follows. Generally, larger dry bags have a secondary carrying method (the shoulder strap), but small dry bags do not normally have a secondary carrying method. It was not on a kayak, but I was hauling my lunch, stove, and snacks on the way in and trash on the way out from my last trout fishing trip. For those who are wondering, yes I did have a backpack already but it was my fishing tackle bag, which is why I used a dry bag from Kast King to carry all of my equipment. In addition to my ditch bag, a fishing pole is an essential safety item for me when I fish more than 30 miles off the coast of North America. When I had the older, clear-windowed version of KastKing's dry bag, I tossed it around, stepped on it, and abused it day after day for a year. There is a better build quality on this bag. It's time to get rid of the old and make way for It is very little that I would change about this bag that I would change for my purposes (offshore ditch bag). I have listed my observations below. The cons are There's only one I can find for me, the small zipper, but I'm not sure I could ever use it since I wouldn't be able to put anything in it. As a result of my previous purchases, I received an email from KastKing asking for my opinion on this bag. However, this did not influence my review in any way. Over the years, I have purchased an overwhelming amount of KastKing products, from pliers to braided line, all of which have never failed.

A 20L size in blush color was ordered - it'll be delivered in a matter of days I can hardly believe how big it is! As an added bonus, the package included a waterproof phone case. This bag has a strap and handles, so you can wear it or store it under your It will be great to keep my bag in my rear kayak storage area that takes a lot of water, even with scupper plugs in, so this will work perfectly. Besides using it on the water, I plan on using it while I'm fishing as well. I highly recommend this bag for all its features and the great price. It's stylish, versatile and above all, functional.

In order to fish from float tubes, I purchased a 10l dry bag. desired a place to keep a towel, my keys, my wallet, and maybe an extra shirt. Things I wanted on me, but wouldn't need or drink from. When I got my dry bag, the first thing I did was to In a few hours, I emerged from the water to find that the inside of the bag had dried. I then submerged the bag and phone case and left them for hours. noticed a little bit of water got inside when I opened it due to the way I was holding it. I pushed down on the lip of the tub and some of the water that was on the outside spilled in. I apologize, but that was my mistake.

I think there is a plastic liner on top of the dry bag that helps to seal it? As for getting stuff in and out, the bag is a bit clingy, but for me, I don't mind since my intent with this bag is to keep a few things dry while I'm on the water, so I can grab them after I leave the water. This would be quite annoying if you were to open and close this bag a lot. It is evident from the damp, irreparably damaged tissues inside the outside zipper compartment that it is not waterproof. It seems to be a solid phone case. It was dry when we picked up the tissue. This floating effect appeals to me. that there are two clasps to hold the folded part together. You can fold the case three times (like a dry bag) and on each fold, there is a seal (like a zip-lock). It does not seem very convenient to get a phone in and out of the unit. A different carrying case features one zipper cover with a clasp that clamps This is a good backup or gift for someone else, but I think I'd like to stick with that one. The case is very well made. I am confident it will hold up well in the water and keep my items.
