The waterproof nature of these bags makes them ideal for storing items. In the midst of a recent trip, one of our bags was accidentally submerged. We found the bag to be dry, and all the items inside were fine. There were three layers of locking (each is like a ziplock bag). In preparation for my Hawaii trip, I bought this. Throughout the 10 days, I carried it around in my purse. I have ever bought anything from Amazon! A couple of days later, my family of four decided to swim to an island, so we packed three iPhones, two wallets, and what I already had in there like lip gloss and aspirin in the boat. I swam with it for hours, without any water, after sealing it. Dry as a bone! Voici a tip If you are going to seal the tube, make sure you remove all the air first. When you close it, it has a triple seal, so whenever the lid is full of air, you will have to reopen and close the lid.

In the waist pouch, there is a pocket for storing the wallet, keys, and the contents of the pocket. Based on the instructions, I tested them I gave the waist pouch a big thumbs up. I failed miserably in my attempt to make a cell phone pouch. The splash guard will probably be fine if all you need it for is splash protection, but I wouldn't submerge the piece in water or let it sit for a long period of time. It sounds like I should try contacting the seller in that regard. With all the other stuff in the waist pouch, it's tight to fit the phone in there. The pouch had a strap, but I removed it (since I was not planning on wearing it) and replaced it with a clip-on. With both pouches attached to lanyards, the idea is that they can be clipped together and stored in a splash proof compartment of the bag. I was impressed by the quality of the waist pouch. Each row of zip lock strips along the opening is 3 rows wide. After you have all your stuff inside and you've pushed them all closed, you fold it over like a dry bag. The flap has velcro on it so you can close it with that. It is good to have an arrangement like this because it cannot be closed My cell phone can probably go in the other waist pouch if I buy another set. In any case, I gave it a star for the cell phone pouch, I would have given it two stars but I think the waist pouch is a great addition to the product.
