Questions & Answers
There is more of a question about what kind of rope you use than anything else. According to my experience, it would hold the weight of an adult as long as it was connected to the appropriate rope
The buoy is the only piece of hardware. However, this is better because you can attach a large shackle to the top that will not There is a history of failure with other buoys that have a rod embedded in the middle (at least I've this, you can see the condition of your shackles and chains in advance so that you can prevent issues in the future. The buoy I have now has been with me for over six years and it's been delightful.

I think that this buoy is just the right size for small boats Inclusion of the collar is not included in the price. If you need to moor easily, you should add a ring or attachment on your chain or rope. Currently we have two Taylor made buoys in Puget Sound, and one of them is still in good shape after 5 years out in the sound all year.
As I have been looking for a mooring ball with chain through it, I selected the one that accommodates this. This ball only has one complaint the reflective blue tape around the equator has degraded after two seasons of use.
You need to read the description of what a mooring ball is you're on the wrong page If you don't understand what a mooring ball is.
Neither hardware nor software were included! In the description, it did not say that.
It should contain a description of both the shaft and washers. Despite my expectations, it did not live up to them. I found that the washers on the shaft couldn't keep my 18" buoy in place, so it would float away. The washers I used were smaller than the hole on the shaft, This meant that I had to go and look for a larger washer, which was a bit tedious. When describing the shaft and washers, it would have been helpful to include the diameter of the washers, or to specify the diameter of the holding hole through which the shaft would operate.
It is tremendous value for the price. The West Marine price on this one was 1/3 of what I paid. I've been monitoring this one for a while.
The structure is very visible and sturdy. The 12th century Lakes with fresh water are plenty large enough for 15".
Swimming pools will love it.
