Taylor Made Products 1152 Tuff End Inflatable Vinyl Boat Buoy, White, 21 inch Diameter

While on vacation, my family and I took our Boston Whaler 210 Dauntless with us. A dock was part of the property we were staying in, so we were able to tie our boat up Over the weekend, I expected there to be a lot of activity around the dock. As the boat was near the dock, I was worried the boat would be damaged by the rough waters. Because of these constant conditions, I knew the bumpers I had would not stand up to them. The week before I was due to depart, I found these buoys and decided to get 4 of them. As there are several sizes to choose from, I knew I should get the 21" buoys since I would rather have them a little too large than too small. Upon seeing them in person, I was quite surprised at how large they were. crazy when we got to the lake and tied three pigs to the boat and secured it to the dock. Once I realized I had made a good choice, she was extremely pleased with my Our boat remained far enough away from the dock since these three buoys were held in place all week without ever touching it. There was high traffic back and forth both weekends on the water, making the foreshore rough both weekends. In the event that you do purchase these, make sure to prepare an air compressor for the purpose of inflating For filling these with air, you will need a needle similar to the one you use to inflate a ball. It will take forever to pump with a hand pump. In one of the four I purchased, the air wouldn't hold as the inflation port was damaged. Depending on how critical this is to you, I would order it as soon as possible so you have plenty of time to get them inflated before you use them, or order more than you need and send the extras back. For those of you who want to protect your boat in rough waters, I highly recommend this.

3 of these just arrived and all 3 valves leaked out of the box. Additionally, one of the fenders had a pin hole near A bad product is being shipped out by Taylor Made. It is impossible for them to not be aware of this. These governments allow people to spend their money on this garbage and turn a blind eye to it. You won't get a new defective valve from them unless someone calls them and they send you another one.

Filling it out was my first task after receiving There was no air in it. Taylor Made sent me a few new fill nozzles after I contacted them. I can't hold air in my mouth. There is no longer a window for me to return. Another company made a fender that looks very similar to mine. That has worked out well for me. My next purchase of this product will not be this one.

I liked the product until the screw in plug broke into pieces when I first used it. I did not let enough air out of the hole, so the air stayed in, but now I would like to deflate and store, but I cannot. My problem is that Amazon is not shipping me a new plug As far as I can tell, I can either keep it or return it whole. This review would be five stars if it weren't for the plug.

In preparation for hurricane season, we had to purchase extra fenders. A 50 MY would have been the perfect fit for these. In case more are needed, I will buy more.

A year ago I bought 10 nice traditional boat fenders for an absurd amount of money since I own a 42' sailboat. These are the only fenders I need, so I will likely never need traditional ones. As you dock, these do not roll out above the dock in the same way as other fenders. During the season, I leave these in the water until I scrub them at the end. As far as I am concerned, I would not bother to lug these around as I sail to other harbors, but they are the most appropriate for your home port. A boat up to 50 feet should be able to use these.
