Questions & Answers
Yes, it includes a 50-foot lot and a super-strong Ng rope.
Great! It's steel that's been galvanized.
The anchor's top is zip-tied with a rope. You can pull up on the rope and break the zip tie to pull the anchor from the bottom if it becomes stuck under an object in the water. (This is where the fins are located.) Breaking the zip tie allows you to easily pull the anchor out from the opposite end, rather than getting it more stuck.

This tiny anchor is adorable. This anchor was purchased to go with my paddleboards. The rope is of excellent quality and appears to be capable of supporting a large vessel (definitely overkill for paddleboards and kayaks, but I'm not complaining). Even though the rope is 50 feet long, there's a metal insert sown into it to keep it from breaking, which I didn't expect. I was perplexed as to why the rope was zip tied to the top of the anchor and nearly cut it off, but it's a great addition just in case you drop the anchor into the water without connecting it to your board. I went back to the amazon page and saw that the seller had responded to a question on the subject. If the anchor becomes stuck under something, it appears that you can break the zip tie by pulling up on the rope and pulling the anchor free from the other end. (I never would have guessed, but I'm glad I did. ) Just in case, that's a fantastic feature to have. It performs exactly as advertised and kept my son and me in place on a windy day out on the lake. It's light enough to carry on the board but heavy enough to keep you anchored in place even when the wind picks up. It comes with a padded bag that appears to be quite sturdy. The anchor squeaks into place, but it closes. So far, the quality has left me very pleased and impressed.
Updated on 8/31/21 (3-years) 4 stars): After two uses of the anchor, the paint has chipped away in some areas, and they have rusted. It securely holds two paddleboards, but it will quickly rust. After two trips to the lake or reservoir, I took pictures of the rust. The rust on our old airhead anchor, which has been used dozens of times, is minimal. Not all coatings are created equal, and while this blue coating looks nice right out of the box, it easily nicks and chips. Original (5-star) review: br>br> Wow, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW The build quality is far better than I expected for an anchor, from the clean presentation to the way the rope is sewn to the loops. We've got a 1st-class airhead on our hands. We've been using a 5 pound anchor with two isups, but we're still drifting. We wanted to move up to a three-bedroom apartment. The most common anchor is a 5-pound anchor, but most come with a 25-pound anchor. On our 1, we have 30 feet of rope and a 30 foot line. Sometimes a 5 pound anchor isn't enough. There aren't many anchors with 40 feet of rope, much less 50 feet like this one! The anchor is also larger than I expected, owing to its size being more than double that of the 1. 5 pound (but hey, it's twice the weight, so it's understandable). The bouy is a nice touch because it will float if you forget to clip the rope onto something. I guess I didn't read the entire description before ordering, because I was perplexed as to why the rope was zip tied to the bottom of the anchor and the rope was attached to the bottom of the anchor. At first, I assumed it was just for shipping, and I was about to cut the zip tie and reattach it when I noticed a comment from the seller in the question section. I'm not sure what they call it, but you basically leave it alone and throw it out. If your anchor becomes stuck on the bottom, tug hard enough and the zip tie will break, allowing you to pull the anchor up from the bottom and unwedge it. It's really cool! I just got it today, so I haven't tried it in the water yet, but I'll let you know how it goes over the weekend. I haven't removed the plastic from the rope yet, so everything is currently crammed into the padded bag that comes with it. With the rope loose, it might fit a little better. So far, I've been blown away.
My daughter and I are wearing light blue shirts and paddle in a yellow canoe. This anchor is a great match for the rest of our outfit. It was perfect for my 15' canoe! It came with a long rope that was very nice. All of the parts appeared to be of excellent quality. The padded tote sack was perfect for everything. I read all of the other anchors' reviews and couldn't decide which one to choose. I decided to pay a little extra and take a chance on this one because it had no reviews.
This anchor is one of my favorites because it's small, well-made, and works great with the 50' rope. It's packaged in a tough plastic bag. During a recent storm, I used my Anchor to assist in towing in another paddleboard. It worked great, so I put it in the bag and ran the rope through the SUP'S D-ring. a ring on her paddelboard's front, then through my D- It worked perfectly when I wrapped the ring around my kayak seat, which was attached to my paddleboard. It comes highly recommended!.
Ideal for use on the lake as a floatation device! br>Congratulations on a job well done.
I've only used it in the lake, but it's well-made and does what it claims to do.
Completes the task at hand.
Last summer, I purchased two Zero Drift anchors for our two paddle boards, and they are still in excellent condition. The extra length on the hope has proven useful on several occasions. I do a lot of fishing from paddleboards, and the quality of this anchor is unsurpassed. It works well in both rivers and lakes, which I've tried. I strongly advise you to do so.
