316 STP STAINLESS STEEL Our 4 ft stainless anchor line is constructed from 1/4" 316 STP stainless steel along with 2 bow shackles also made of the same material. In contrast to galvanized chains, these boat anchor chain options are designed to last a long time and are corrosion-free.
A double threaded bow shackle pin prevents the screw from falling from the anchor chain by preventing it from slipping out of place. As your anchor shank moves parallel to the bottom of the sea, the chain is resistant to abrasion and weighted to prevent it from slipping. Approximately 5110 lbs break load is offered by the chain, whereas 5510 lbs is offered by the shackles.
A large stainless bow shackle can be used with almost all anchor rope types thanks to its good compatibility and flexibility. It has a pre spliced stainless thimble and fits great with the anchor lines we sell separately. Whether you are using a traditional fluke anchor, a box anchor, spade anchor, or another it will work with the screw pin anchor shackles with chain.

An anchor that is perfect for the aft end

It will be the aft anchor for my boat. The content is perfect & exactly what I wanted These can be deployed from a swim platform with ease. I plan to buy a little longer one for my bow anchors after seeing this one.

Finished in a smooth manner

As a result of the smooth surface, I prefer stainless steel over galvanized dipped. I have seen many times where galvanized pieces cause cuts to fingers due to sharp edges.

The chain is a nice change from one that is rusted

When chain is submerged in salt water, it rusts. It may or may not be galvanized Galvanized steel deteriorates just a bit slower than other types of steel. This SS chain will hopefully last a long time Ensure that the anchor locker is.
