Questions & Answers

In order for it to function properly, why does it need a chain of at least 15'?

The chain needs to be able to outweigh the anchor, so 15 feet is an estimate and not a rule of thumb. A chain must be heavier than an anchor, so it can be longer or shorter than 15 feet.

Can this system hold up to the stress of a heavy boat cruising with all chains? The Rockna 20 anchor is a 30k pound The average person is about six years old Is it possible to achieve 5 knots under a ?

A speed of around 10 to 15 mph is needed for the Anchor Ring to work properly A line of 12 knots is needed to pull an all chain anchor through a

Could a windlass be used in place of the windlass?

The systems on your offshore boat should all be redundant, as they should all be connected. In case a hydraulic or electric windless system fails, as mine once did in adverse weather conditions, it is a godsend to have such a system to prevent the loss of my anchoring gear on my 26,000 lb lobster boat with little effort.

Can you tell me how long the rope connecting ball and ring is?

Although it is about four feet long, I immediately changed it to braided rope of a higher quality

I'm in love with Pulling up an anchor is a pain in the neck
5/5

A heart-warming experience that I'd do again in a moment's notice. This book is highly It is more efficient to fish than to pull an anchor up and down the river. The anchor will come loose and the anchor ball will go behind the boat, bringing the rope through the metal on the anchor ball. You can then drive straight ahead into the current slowly so the anchor will pop loose. Simply get off your anchor ball from your anchor line and head to the next spot and throw the anchor again. As soon as your anchor ball reaches the anchor ball, you can pull back your anchor rope and anchor (which is now weightless due to the big bobber essentially).

The balloon cannot be inflated
3/5

This is what I bought just now. My needs would be met by this size, however, I was concerned about its lack of The air comes out of the plug when you try to screw it back in, even when it is pressurized. I didn't find a manual on how to pump it up. You can find this valve in a different make/model if you search for it.

The anchor puller is much more than that! A different purpose led me to purchase this item
4/5

The intake to a water pump is kept from dropping into the weeds and mud with the help of this. I was unable to locate instructions on how to inflate the buoy (shipped uninflated), but found the inlet eventually. A 12-volt air pump is equipped with a fitting that you can attach to a The buoy should be provided with instructions on how to inflate it and the right type of inflation device.

I finally had the opportunity to use this
5/5

There was a problem with the anchor. I finally had the opportunity to use this. An anchor was stuck and could not be lifted. Once it was submerged, we attached it to the rope, put the boat into reverse, and it pulled up the anchor after a few seconds. The tree root was attached to the anchor once I retrieved it, so it does what it is.

It is indispensable! I wouldn't go out on the water I am blown away by the quality! My 16 lb clam style anchor is lifted easily with this lifter! It is a good quality ball, so it is also a good rope, while the ring and carabiner are both stainless steel
5/5

Moreover, it is important to get a carabiner of the right size, and this is what is required.

The braided rope looks somewhat fragile because the back saving device is held by an elastic strap
5/5

It will be replaced as soon as possible. I did not experience any problems inflating the buoy and I've been impressed by the strength of the clip. An awesome system for retrieving the anchor that can save your back and make deep water fishing more enjoyable.

An area at the seam of the rope tie leaking
3/5

There is a leak at the rope tie attachment, and since it comes deflated, it is a surprise when you first try it.
