It has a 5/16" bow shackle at each end. The anchor chain's dimensions are 1/4" x 4'. A 5/16" pin and bow refer to the diameter of the metal pin. Between the 2 prongs of the bow are 17 holes, the depth of the "boss" (the 2 prongs). There is a difference of 0.05mm The number 69).

It is a really short In a nutshell, I think the chain is way too small for a boat even though it is advertised as boat anchor chain

The phrase "US Stainless" is highly misleading, as I try to purchase products made in the USA. On the shackles, it clearly says made in China. Maybe I'm just being too picky, but I really believe it's important for me to know where a product is coming from and if I'm supporting a country that limits intellectual property rights.

With shackles on both ends, this 1/4" by 4' chain is of high quality. The product is exactly as described. In the world of anchor chains, this chain is quite small. Using this anchor will help a smaller anchor attain a good setting angle if it lies flat on the bottom. Small boats would be perfectly fine with this, but large boats over 30' would not be supported.

You should be careful if there are any I just received the anchor chain a short time ago

My fingers were cut at least twice on sharp metal pieces poking out of the links as I opened the packaging and inspected the chain. In addition, there were severe cuts on the chain, so I repackaged it to return it immediately.
