It will most likely work well for longboarding, but not for shortboarding where you may need to duck dive through waves.
It will, in fact.

However, because the price is so low, don't expect top-notch quality and features. Although mine did not come into contact with water, the quality appears to be adequate. It's FIT that's causing the problem. I'm 5'9" tall, 34" waisted, and have a broad chest and shoulders (44" chest). I went with the Large size because my previous suit was a BARE brand in SMALL! ), and nearly dialed 911 while attempting to put it on (couldn't get it on/no way, and struggled to get out of it). Despite the fact that this is an Amazon-sold item, double-check the details because you will be responsible for return shipping - Money was squandered. br>br>PS - If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative Don't you despise reviewers who comment on fit, state their height and weight, but fail to mention the SIZE they ordered that is correct?.
During the winter and fall months, I mostly swim in my pool with this. I'd also like to go swimming in the ocean (I'm in San Diego). My height is 6'2" and my weight is 190 lbs. My waist measures 32/33 inches, and my chest measures 40 inches. I ordered an extra large, which was perfect. I didn't think I'd be able to fit into anything smaller, so I ordered the perfect size, which keeps me toasty in the pool on even the coldest mornings and evenings. It allows me to continue swimming as part of my workout routine while experimenting with different exercises. I strongly advise you to do so.
As a result, I decided to send it back and replace it with my 3mm. Because of my previous experience, I now know this thing is good. I'm now 5'10" tall. Weight: 216 lbs. I'm a 43 regular suit size with a 38 waist, so I ordered the XXL and it fits perfectly. I can't wait to get out on the water with this thing. After a couple of dives, I'll post an update.
I bought the XXL and I am 6'0 and 230 pounds with a 36in waist, so the only loose part is the waist, which makes the fact that the crotch seam fell apart after four uses a little ridiculous. br>I contacted the seller, who issued a partial refund to assist with the cost of having the wetsuit repaired. I only wish it had been more durable the first time around.
This was purchased in preparation for a kayaking trip on Lake Superior. The suit served its purpose. I was able to get in the water up there and work on rescue drills and rolling while remaining completely unaffected by the cold. It helped that it was August and the water temperature was at its warmest, but it was still chilly up there.
Because this is my first wetsuit, I spent some time on their website looking at the sizing chart and even emailed them to ask what size I should get. I went with the small because they recommended it, and I'm glad I did. The knees are also padded. I'd describe my proportions as average, so the wetsuit's 30" inseam is ideal for me.
I ordered a medium (5'8" 185lbs) based on the NeoSport website's size chart, but it was too small. There were no issues with the return process, and the large fits much better!.
When you're diving deep in the summer, this is a good wetsuit to have.
