This was purchased for my Bay Boat, which is 24 feet long. It's essentially a hollow plastic donut made of a relatively thin material. When I first used it, it "squished. " On another boat, I have a Reese wheel chock that is much stronger and spreads out flat in the bottom. This seemed similar to me. We've already placed an order for another Reese, so this one will be returned.
I have a trailer that weighs 1,500 pounds. This was squished down on one side, hollow and too soft plastic.
Its ok. It's been a few weeks since I've used it, and it's beginning to lose its shape. So far, however, everything has remained intact. It's probably better suited to a light-weight vessel.
It's what I use for jet skis, and it's great. It would be nice if it didn't give in so quickly. It bends when I use it with jet skis. It certainly gets the job done.
I'm no longer in possession of it! It was noticed by a friend, who persuaded me not to do it. I'm going to go out and get myself a new one now. I should probably buy two so that I can be "friended" once more.
During my time with it, it cracked and flattened. It's not even close to being worth the money. Make sure you don't throw your money away!.
The first time I used it, it broke. Plastic. The first time I used it, it broke.
Muy bien.
