Transom brackets, legs, and installation hardware are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and can be used in both saltwater and freshwater. Inflatable, aluminum, and fiberglass boats will all benefit from this product.

Boats with a transom are recommended. The boat should not be more than 16 feet in length. The total weight of the animal must not exceed 500 pounds. These transom wheels should only be installed by an adult who has some tool experience. To properly install the wheel set, you'll need to drill four mounting holes (5/16") in the transom. Some aluminum transoms may require additional reinforcement. You can also use Sikaflex 291, which is a marine sealant.

For easy leg attachment and removal, take advantage of the spring-loaded wider hand pull bar. Setting the leg to the down position for launching or the up position while boating is quick and easy.

Tire inflation: Dolly tires may not be fully inflated when shipped; prior to use, only apply 15-20 PSI pressure at room temperature. In the event that a tire becomes overinflated, it is best to use a portable digital air pump. Over-inflating a tire will result in damage, and the warranty will be voided. For heavy-loading applications, a dual wheel kit is available for this dolly.

Before you use it, make sure your tires are properly inflated. After each use, rinse thoroughly with cold water. Ensure that the spring-loaded bar and axis are lubricated. Store the wheels in a cool, shaped area away from heat, direct sunlight, and UV to extend the life of the product. Within the United States, there is a 2-year manufacturer's limited warranty. Any defective ransom wheel sets will be replaced for free for a period of 30 days.

Is it necessary for the boat to be registered?

Yes, the boat has been registered in the United States. However, in Canada, only boats with a horsepower of 10 or more are allowed.

My transom is made of lightweight aluminum. Is it better to put the plywood spacer on the inside or outside of the boat?

Both work, but I usually recommend inside, unless your boat transom also has a 1/4 edge that stays outside, in which case you can place this spacer outside of the transom. as a result of which the bracket can be pushed away. a small amount The Deluxe boat wheel set will be more effective at this point. When a boat becomes unique, we typically recommend the Seamax deluxe model. thanks.

Is the curved part of the wheel stand supposed to go under the boat or away from it?

Both are laborious, so they're usually stowed away beneath the boat. thanks.
