Questions & Answers
To release the pin from the catch, you must first push it down, and then they will float up. To keep them out of the water, you must pull them up and secure them in another catch. This set of wheels is fantastic. This item is extremely durable. Don't overload the boat with people or animals, such as children or dogs.

It's not too heavy. Installing it was a breeze. They didn't send all of the washers, and a few of the nuts were damaged, causing two of the bolts to be stripped. I had to go to the hardware store to get some supplies. Make sure the boat is being towed straight, not at an angle. The brackets will be bent, and the wheels will be unable to rise and fall.
There is NO WAY that this product's weight capacity is 330 pounds. I received this item about 10 days ago, and after wheeling a 110-pound dinghy from the beach to the water six times, the aluminum legs are already destroyed and bent. The right leg is completely bent at nearly a 90 degree angle, while the left leg is bent at the top where the locking pins are, but not nearly as badly. This is a low-cost rip-off.
