Questions & Answers

IS THIS FOR A SET OF TWO OR FOR ONE PERSON?

It's only going to be used by one person. It appears to be the same as the transom boatbuckles, which do come in pairs, and if I'd thought about it sooner, I would have purchased a pair for the transom and split them with my son to use as a bow hold down for both of us. Just a note: the stainless models had a higher capacity than the non-stainless models when I purchased mine. the material is stainless steel I use them to secure the transom and bow of our boat; they are the best product I've purchased for the money, and I recommend them to anyone I know who trailers a boat.

Is this the first of a pair or the second?

This is how you wear a bow tie. Only one person is left. Another option for the couple to secure the transom should be available. br>I have both, and they are well worth the money!

I'd like to purchase a boatbuckle g2 3 photo. What is the cost of delivery to Moscow, Russia?

I am not the seller; I simply purchased a pair from them.

I do not need a winch because I use a boat buddy. Is this something I could use instead of a winch?

This is intended to keep the boat in place by acting as a tie down. It will not winch your boat up, not even by a fraction of a percent. 2 feet.

Another thing to be concerned about has been removed from the equation
5/5

So, despite all of the negative feedback about this product's mounting hardware in previous reviews, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I took the opportunity to do so. Either the company responded to the complaints, or there are a lot of people out there who don't know what a bolt, interference nut, and washer are for. (A little Neversieze on the threads will do the trick)br>br>My trailer came with a tab installed from the factory for either a bow tie down strap or, as it turns out, a product like this. I had to cut down the 5" bolt they provided to make it short enough to fit down near the trailer frame, but it arrived well packaged and on time. It performs as expected once installed. Very easy to work with. It'll save me from having to worry about it at the boat launch. It will retract on its own if you disconnect it from the bow eye. br>br>I didn't choose the stainless steel version of the product because I only use my boat in fresh water. In any case, I didn't think an extra $25 for an upgrade was justified. It will be interesting to see how well it stands up to wear and corrosion, but so far it has performed admirably.

Ties that are both strong and practical
5/5

downs. These were simple to install on my trailer, owing to the fact that I had an older pair that had worn out after about 15 years. They're well worth the money if you want quick and convenient boat-to-trailer support. I've read some reports of them becoming stuck, but I imagine that would only happen if you used them too much. They should be tightened. I cinch them up tight and they always release without a hitch. I'll update my review if I have any issues with them, as I paid a little more than I wanted for these, but that was my own fault.

Tip for a Good Boat down
5/5

They were attached to the back of the boat trailer. For a 1984 boat, this is a perfect fit. Regular ratchet straps were broken, so they were replaced. It is extremely simple to operate. Simply press the button and attach the ring to the boat's back. Secure the boat by ratcheting it down. The ease with which tension can be released makes launching the boat a breeze. Because I didn't use the included attachment hardware, I can't comment on how easy it is to mount the nut and bolt.

This is something that should have been done years ago! We've been using the same D-type D-type D-type D-type D-type D-type D-type D Since 1985, I've been using rings and a turnbuckle, which has always been a huge pain
5/5

I finally got one of these, and it makes launching and loading the boat so much easier. It has a heavy-duty feel to it, and I have complete faith in it. The ratcheting feature is very convenient and hasn't jammed on me yet (as many other features do). It only required drilling a hole through the trailer frame, which was not difficult, and it came with all of the necessary hardware. I was so taken with it that I purchased the transom straps to go with it! It's something I'd strongly advise you to try.

What a fantastic product! It's so simple to use and set up
5/5

Around 5 years ago, I put these on my new trailer. I wish I had known about them earlier. What a fantastic product! It's so simple to use and set up. The only issue that may arise is ensuring that the belt does not rub against the boat's bottom edge. If this is the case, use the Universal Mounting Bracket and Boat Pads to protect the belts from friction wear. I am completely satisfied with this product and would not want to be without it at this time.

Larger boats will benefit from this
5/5

My boat's center and stern take up the majority of its weight. During longer road trips, I would occasionally get some front end (bow) play if I didn't have this. This was added to keep the bow in place (I used SS because I use both salt and fresh). It is very quick to hook up and take off prior to launch because it was drilled into the trailer. After a few road trips, it's still going strong. You might be able to see how it could work for you if you look at the picture!.

Working as intended, the excess strap is hidden, and the overall appearance is very clean
5/5

The boat bow safety strap on our Prestige boat trailer had broken, and this was the closest strap available. This is preferable to the previous design, which was also quite nice.

They look fantastic and are incredibly simple to use
5/5

I have three of these high-quality products. There are two on the bow and two on the transom. I would not own a boat trailer if the transom tie downs were not permanently mounted. They are extremely quick and simple to use, and there is no risk of losing the tie down or becoming entangled. My trailer's bow mounting point required a shorter bolt, but this is not the product's fault; in fact, bolt strength specifications are provided in the instructions for this contingency.
