Kipawa 314 High Performance Weedless Propeller for 30-45 Thrust Minn Kota Motors

The following is an update as of 6/26/19 The problem with this prop (yes, I said it a big problem) is that I cannot use it. It was with this prop that I melted the contact points in the MinnKota Edge 45 speed setting switch. A couple hours after installing this prop on my trolling motor, it ceased to work when set to a couple of high speed settings when I used it in the wind. My investigation on the failure led me to open up the switch case, and I found that the POINTS WOULD NOT REFLECT ANY LIGHT, and they were burned out, blackened, It was a speed switch replacement from Amazon that fixed the problem, it also worked for all other speed settings. My conclusion is that this larger prop caused a higher electrical load on the motor and the speed selector switch overheated. This caused the little contact points inside the switch to burn out. Your best bet is to use the 'stock' trolling motor prop that came with the.

From what I know now based on the experience of running this prop, if it was double the price it currently commands, I would buy it. The Standard Props are completely outpowered, out-pulled, and just plain out performed by this thing. A friend of mine has the same boat and motor as I do. So badly did I walk away from him that he pulled out his phone and ordered one right away! (While he was at it, I asked him to order an extra as well). We were fishing with friends when they were idling over to a spot with their boat motors. I was twice as quick. Once he shut his boat motor down and I pulled away, he said, "wow you have a damn quiet motor. ". In response, he refused to believe me when I told him it was the trolling motor. The man said that there was no way that would happen that fast. Before he would believe it, I had to show him. You know what I found out? It looked like the props were on their way out, including his phone. LOL I deserve to be paid a commission. One of the best things I've ever bought for my boat is this prop.

There is a 40Lb Minnkota in my possession. I own a 10' molded bass boat with seating for two people. There is a lot of high-quality plastic in this prop, and it is finished cleanly. Despite being a small part, it fit perfectly and included a short lock nut so it looked like they care about the quality of the installation. After 10 minutes of running at +5 there was no detectable increase in vibration, and the motor head and wires did not get hot. My boat is now quite a bit faster than when it was light weight. I believe my GPS is telling me that it is A speed of 0 mph on +5 is expected. I agree with others that the factory prop reverse was poor. I can't believe how much better it is, compared to another one! My Ninja weed cutter rubbed against the cup of the prop so I had to sand the cup where it rubbed. It was a pleasure to purchase both items.

As soon as I opened the package, the flash from the mold hadn't been trimmed. In case I did not know, I turned on the motor after removing the flash. The base of it rubbed against the motor housing, so I had to remove it and sand it down so it wouldn't rub. This also caused the boat to shake badly, since it has no balance. A balanced product is one I would not purchase unless I was assured by the manufacturer or seller it was There is nothing special about this.

I have a 30lb 12v Minkota on my boat. Rather than a 5 hp gasoline engine that moves the boat at 6mph, the minkota will now move me at 5mph while it is mounted to the transom. We think that the product is great. It is a direct replacement and it has a balanced and smooth power output. Only one addition I would suggest is the addition of an anti-virus Ensure that the thrust is used for the cavitation plate.

Although the product is of high quality, I think it's a bit too much prop for a small motor. It had been recommended for my motor, yet I chose not to use it. This kit can be installed on a minn kota 30 It was about the same or a little faster in top speed. When cruising at speed 5, I noticed that the motor was hotter on top. There was a noticeable difference in the wiring as well. However, my main complaint about the battery is that it runs out 1. Less run time. Using the OEM prop, you can do speed 5 for up to 5 hours rather than 2 hours. I, personally, don't think it's worth it to switch. My OEM prop is now back in place.

The performance of this prop is remarkable, considerably better than the performance of a standard min kote prop, my buddy thought that it could be used as a ski behind it ha ha, not that fast, but much faster than a factory kote prop.
