Despite the fact that there are expensive and designed for potable liquids valves, I would imagine so. A safe and approved potable water supply would be more important to me.
The dimensions of the screws you put into it determine whether or not it will work. Pipe thread 1/4'' is the size of the valve's thread
Let's turn off tanks 1, 2, 3 and all of them. You will need two 4 way valves if you have a fuel tank The supply and the return are one and the same. Thanks, Mike *br>
With just a screw out and a pull of the handle, the handle came right off
Selected User Reviews For Moeller Fuel Tank Four-Way Valve (1/4", Brass)
The 4-tank kit was ordered even though I would only be installing 1 aux fuel tank It is one I am familiar with as installed in a classic airplane, and I wanted to see how it fits into a modern production plane. The fuel is directed into the selected inlet by a cone made of delrin or plastic inside. Fuel is directed outward through the bottom port of the intake port. When selecting the intake port, a distinct "click" detent can be audible and felt. I was pleased with the quality of the construction and the fact that it did not leak. Since I've now discovered an excellent replacement that mimics what came with my airplane, I plan to suggest it to my airplane friends as well I can only observe one distinct difference between the delrin part and the original aircraft part that being the delrin part is production (but from the same manufacturer). It is made of brass with a brass cone inside. In fact, this is an improvement because it will reduce the likelihood of "seizing" or "galling" when internal lubrication is depleted. This is a valve that I recommend.
On this "4-way switch" it seems like there are some inconsistencies regarding switch positions A valve that has a "two-way" action. There are different suppliers at Moeller, so I suspect this is why. Four handle positions can be found on the one I received A tank's inputs are assigned a button, as well as an OFF position where the tank is not The switch positions also have a "click" function, which makes it easy to notice when you are holding the handle in the off position or in the right position for the particular tank. Depending on how you look at it, the outlet is either at the bottom or at the back In any case, the outlet is in a good location A line must be drawn between the valve shaft and the actuator. Part number 33304-00 for the one I have is from Moeller Anderson Brass Co. manufactured this piece and it was number 10 in size. My first impression of this valve is that it feels well made and that it seems to be a quality product that should.
I was pleased with the quality of the product.
The item arrived quickly and appears to be in good condition.
Using the valve, you are able to hear an audible click for every one of the During installation, the main fuel line developed a crack (on the ocean) which required replacement. I've been able to switch to a different fuel tank (with a new hose) and was able to get into the boat (without calling has paid for itself!.
Shipping was fast and the quality was excellent.
I have no problems with it.
