I don't know how to do it it doesn't work This Attwood valve's check ball tension is so tight that the gas line would not draw gas from the tank through this fitting when the primer bulb is in place

It was impossible for the fuel to leave the tank due to this valve design, so the engine could not start. With a Yamaha standard valve in place of the Attwood valve, the primer bulb worked as it is supposed to. Although the engine ran fine, the design of the engine was really bad. The marina where I purchased the Yamaha valve told me they replace these Attwood valves on the boats of their customers often. There was an issue with customers being The engine in the boat shut down and would not start. In this particular case, the valve design makes this possible. Despite its low price, I strongly recommend avoiding.

The photograph does not show what you will receive - you receive only the male part

Additionally, the product description is inaccurate. The only thing you get is the male part. There is also a typo in the product description, which says that it includes both male and female connectors. It should be made clear if you aren't going to receive what has been described and shown.

I was very pleased with the results

A splashless quick-closing toilet is available from Attwood I was able to disconnect my 3 gallon fuel tank on my Scepter with no problems. Furthermore, the threads were already sealed with thread sealant. It was ready to be installed upon receipt. The fuel line connected easily to this connector by attaching it to the Tracker Classic.

The gas tank straps screw right into the gas tank, just be careful not to over tighten them.

As soon as I replaced the primer bulb in my boat, I replaced the manufacturer-specific connectors with these. Replace them with the brass ones provided by the manufacturer instead. You'd imagine that they would work just as you'd expect. You do not allow fuel to spray across the compartment when you disconnect them.
