There are no limits to what we can achieve! It's meant for boats more than anything else! This has to be mounted vertically if you want to use it! That is not the case for me!
On my 37' sloop, I have a wooden mast. What a great idea. If I am in bad weather and my GPS gyro compass is jumping, then this one is steady.
My bezel is backed with a team logo. Despite the fact that it protrudes a little over 2 inches at the compass card, it is easy to see even in the dark.

There is a lot of clarity and beauty in this compass. For reading the inclinometer, the device needs to be installed at eye level, or slightly below, which means that the dual-reading card would only work well for direct reading, so that is something to keep in mind when considering where to mount it. This compasses would work perfectly on a boat, but, as with all magnetic compasses, it is sensitive to ferrous metals The magnet will not stick to steel or other magnetic metals, so mounting it to a steel dash will not work. Help is provided in the form of instructions.
My Santa Cruz 27 Night Wind compass had been out of service for 39 years. I found this model Ritchie to be a perfect fit and it looks great as well. For vessels with a slanted bulkhead, I highly recommend this product. A slick installation is completed by the exterior and interior covers.
It is a beautiful, high quality compass that was calibrated correctly right out of the box and remained true for the duration of a 9 day sailing trip I went on.
This program does what it is expected to do.
There is nothing better than this The result was exactly what I had.
