There are certain locations on this rifle where tape is attached. Several layers of tape are taped on the back, front, and neck of the A silver bolt, not a black one, is used.

The George Miller Ultimate rifles I used to march with in DCI and WGI back in the 90s were my favorites. However, since these are no longer being made, this is the industry standard. It is heavy and balanced, and it is extremely durable.
These are thrown by both of my daughters. Since they made their debut two years ago, they have endured the competition season after season.
Size was not the right one
I was just told that the size was 36", not 39", but it was.
