It feels protective and should probably handle up to about 550 FPS, but I have not yet been hit in the face with it yet. I think the glass is plastic, but I am pretty sure.
If you wanted to attach velcro to it, you could do so, but it may be pretty wobbly since both the helmet and magazines are round. I am uncertain how well it would attach to both. Regardless, this is a great helmet. It's comfortable and the pulldown goggles are great. Just remember to take them off before you come out on the field.
Unfortunately, I don't know of one, but tinting is a pretty simple process with film if you want to experiment

While the helmet looks cool, it cannot be used in an airsoft field! There is nowhere to see a rating for this goggle (sides of goggles are slightly open) or a message to indicate whether they are ansi rated. It was forbidden for me to play with them. It only makes sense to use them in.
The way it is constructed reminds me of the way a bicycle helmet is It is made up of hard foam and a hard outer shell. It would likely make you uncomfortable if it were hit in a hard way while In other words, it seems to be a good plan. A little more thought would have gone into its design.
My previous helmets often caused discomfort and fogged up until I got this one! It is easy for me to wrap the face shield around my glasses without any issue. It's a little cheap looking, but for a price like that could you really expect anything else?.
As a gift for my son, I purchased this. Even though he has a fairly large head for a 7 year old, this did not fit at all and so it falls forward. We purchased some padding to help the situation, and it is working Playing army men is his favorite activity, and getting new accessories and patches is what he loves to do. As for the fold down shield, I am not sure why there is a tint that makes it very difficult.
Despite the helmet's shortcomings, my child is quite happy with it. There is an optional visor which can be added at a later date, and ear shields are built in as well. As far as color is concerned, it matches his tactical vest. I am very satisfied with the helmet in general.
He is currently in the theater, so his face is obscured.
Light construction PPE can be used with this. Using a drop down shield is a quick and easy way to protect your eyes. A lack of padding is a problem. To make it tighter when worn, I stacked them into each other and glued them in place.
This was a Christmas present my son got, so I can't comment on how well it fits his head, but for the price it's a good replica of a fast helmet. It is nice to have the added eye pro Furthermore, even though it is made of a cheap polyethelene material, the rhino mount appears to be legit.
