I bought these to use as replacement safety switches from Brownell and they worked fine. I was worried they would be too tall based on other reviews, but they aren't.
Compared to the factory screw, these new safety screws are a huge improvement! Especially if you also use an aftermarket bigger safety screw. The installation process is easy. This is exactly what I wanted.

This is a good replacement/upgrade screw for the Mossberg shotgun safety model 500/590. The ProMag metal enhanced safety is in excellent shape and work great with our holder! Fit is perfect and the appearance is much more professional. A hex-based file format is required For installation, you will need a bit/screw driver.
