UPDATE: br>So, I wrote the review below a few months ago and moved on with my life; I am keeping the original review for reference, but I must say that it has drastically changed. br>br>See, I didn't expect the item in question to fall apart on me or my original review because it was only $11. I purchased it, it was defective, and I moved on. Until the manufacturer sends me an email, that is. br>br>According to the email, they were not only refunding my money after reading my review, but they had improved the design and wanted to send me one of the new models to see what I thought. br>br>All right, first and foremost, wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow br>br>I mean it, because who in their right mind would spend $11 on a bag like that? It's not like they weren't still at four stars, and as I mentioned in the original review below, I didn't bother trying to get a refund. br>br>So I said: Okay, because that level of conscientiousness, in my opinion, deserves at least a few minutes to see what they did. br>br>Sure enough, after a few emails back and forth, the refund arrived in a flash, and they even emailed me to double-check. They were all over it, to be sure. They were on top of it like it was a custom designer piece, despite the fact that the bag was only $11. br>br>Of course, I was nervous for them at this point, but there was no way I could criticize their meticulous attention to detail. Regardless of this, I was even more adamant in my decision to provide an honest and thorough critique of the new design because, in my opinion, that kind of thing necessitates nothing less than complete honesty. Anything less would be a betrayal of the person who posed the question. br>br>When the bag arrived, I took out my sewing magnification glasses and took a look inside. Thankfully, for everyone involved, things have improved. br>br>The issue with the strap seam that I mentioned in my first review has been resolved. The part that is sewn to the sleeve has now been fully doubled over, and it even feels like some sort of unraveling adhesive has been applied from the corners that I can feel. br>br>In fact, the double over is slightly off-center towards the bottom to better distribute the weight of the bottle across the seam, and it appears that they french rolled the seams where the straps are sewn to each other (they've been folded twice to prevent unraveling, and iirc it was only folded once). br>br>Also, while I don't recall whether the strap was originally sewn to the sleeve with an X inside the box seam pattern, it is now in order to add more stability. br>br>So, I'm ecstatic because this is just another level of detail. wow. And it's all over a bottle bag that costs $11. So, they wanted to know what I thought, and here's what I thought: br>br> br>br>I see no reason why this bag shouldn't last a long time, and I am blown away by the manufacturer's thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Yes, tracking down a critic with specific complaints to see if they had been addressed properly in the new design was smart. However, I've seen a number of high-end luxury items where the manufacturer would never bother to change the design, let alone have it tested by someone who didn't like the original. Especially since there were still a slew of positive reviews on the site. br>br>It's a water bottle bag, to be sure. It's a $11 water bottle bag, to be precise. However, I'm blown away. Thank you for your efforts, gentlemen. You went above and beyond, in my opinion, and the new design looks fantastic. ORIGINAL REVIEW (only left as a reference-) br>So, I place an order for this. (See UPDATE above)br> It arrives and appears to be in good condition, so I fill up my water bottle, place it in the sling, and wear the sling over my shoulder the next morning. The strap breaks as I'm walking to the car. br>br>Obviously not pleased with this because it's just cheap enough that returning it would be a waste of time and money, I inspect the item to see if it's just a bad unit or if it's truly poorly made. It turns out that the straps, which are made of a material that unravels easily, were sewn with no seam allowance. This indicates that the fabric will perform in the same manner as it did for me. The strap will fall off if it unravels past the seam. Because the other side is doing the same thing, the conclusion was obvious: br>br>Extremely poorly constructed. br>br>It's a shame, too, because if they had just sewed the strap ends a little higher up, the whole thing would have been fine, but both sides were identical, so there's no way this could have been a case of just one bad seam slipping past quality control. Nope. This is a ten-dollar lesson in why a fraction of an inch matters so much when sewing. br>br>Which makes no sense as to why this decision was approved all the way through production because it doesn't save the company any money because there was plenty of room to put those seams higher up and thus make it more sturdy, but oh well. It's all about living and learning. br>br>Since it's too cheap to return at this point, I'd advise anyone who has already purchased one of these to do themselves a favor and sew a quick stop seam just below the metal rings on either side before using it, or just get something else next time. br>br>(For that second seam, since you won't be able to get this thing through a machine without a struggle due to the placement and will most likely have to do it by hand Yes, as the bottle rubs against it on the inside of the case, it will eventually wear out, but at the very least, it will keep the thing running long enough for you to get your money's worth and/or find a better replacement.

I assumed that a single bottle would accommodate both the small and large bottles. This is a false statement. The carrier is available in two sizes. The smaller one (750) does a fantastic job of insulating the bottle. The strap is strong and should be worn around the waist; however, I did not find it long enough to wear over my shoulder comfortably. br>br>For me, the larger bottle holds the most! I have a double-walled steel bottle that is insulated. The bigger job is a great fit! In addition, the strap on that model is long enough for me to easily carry the bottle holder over my shoulder. This is a great size for smaller bottles as well. br>br>It's a beautiful design. If you want to hang them from a hook or a tree branch, both sizes of bottle carriers work well. They also protect your steel bottles in the event that one is dropped. To choose your size, click the "Select" button; I didn't realize this the first time I went shopping!.

I needed a bottle carrier that could hold standard plastic bottles. I've attached some photos for anyone who is concerned about the size - the 16. Oi Ocha (9oz / 500ml) fits perfectly with plenty of room to spare. It's also appropriate for my 0. Perfect for a 48L Zojirushi coffee tumbler. I don't notice any of the stitching issues that others have mentioned, and there is no odor unless I press my nose against the fabric (it smells faintly of neoprene).

75", which is just right for my 12" tall 24oz HydroFlask (as shown in the photos). It also perfectly fits my Contigo 750ml water bottle. If I run into any problems, I'll post an update.

I bought both the 750ml and the 500ml bottles. Versions of 1000 mL They're both well-made, with the bottom seam fully stitched. br>br>I purchased the 1000ml solid blue carrier in the hopes that it would stretch to accommodate an entire bottle of wine.
