A few months ago, I got a wide mouth, 32oz simple modern summit bottle, and I really hated how it came with a silicone ring inside the cap. There is no way to see if it is dirty, and taking it out every time is a hassle. I bought two other caps for the bottle, a straw type one and a small flip top one, but they both formed mold when they were used! I am very diligent about washing after each use, as well as taking the rings out of the pocket to wash and dry them. All the other caps eventually fell to the ground when I grew tired of it (and disgusted with it). Honestly, I just wanted a normal one that isn't leaky and doesn't have any little nooks and crannies where mold can collect. It's so great to have such a great There is NO leakage at all and the hood fits perfectly! Due to the fact that it is all plastic and does not have a silicone ring, it is super easy to clean. The only problem with it is that the plastic holding the cap to the bottle is quite hard so, when I grasp it by the little "loop" it hurts and cuts into my hand (so it's not as comfortable when holding 32oz of liquid). Yet honestly, I still love the cap, so I'll find a way to fix the.

The replacement of my caps has been on my mind for years. In stores, I don't have much luck finding them, so I'm grateful for the convenience of Amazon and the five seconds I spent searching for and ordering I love how they look on my bottles, and my son loves being able to carry a bottle by the loop.
Spending money on something that is a waste. I bought two of these to fit my two different Nalgene wide mouth 32oz bottles. It was bottled. No bottle seal formed unless I wrenched them down onto the bottle tightly (and I have pretty large hands, so this would make them unusable. It ended up going so far into the bottle's lip that I cracked it, and now the bottle and lid are useless. I had to tighten one so hard to keep it from leaking. I think this is a big miss.
Keeping in mind that I have a small bottle that has a flip top for drinking, I decided to create a shaker for some health drinks I like to make. This is a perfect example of repurposing an inexpensive.

I saved a lot of money with this cap! The threads on the inside of the original caps can wear down over time, so I strongly recommend that you replace them at LEAST annually. The installation was easy, the seal is leakproof, and the price is right!.
