Everything about this tower is exactly as advertised, and I'm pleased to have received exactly what was promised. In terms of function and quality, I believe it is the ideal deck box. I'm using it for my Kuldotha Boros pauper deck, which has ivory sleeves, and it looks great. Metal and red for my red/white artifact deck seemed like a good fit, and I'm happy with it. br>br> My only complaint is that the texture in the photo looks a lot like a satin tower I've had in the past, and now that I've seen it in person, I'm not sure I would have chosen this design if I were shopping in person and saw the finish. The finish is incredibly gleaming, and it's a far cry from the satin tower I previously owned and adored. I wouldn't describe it as metallic; rather, it has an extremely glossy, if not slimy, feel to it in your hands. It's entirely possible that this metallic version is made of the same material as the satin; the weight and quality are identical, which is great; however, this surface appears to be significantly less expensive than the satin. Something about the satin's matted and texturized surface gives me the impression or even just the illusion of quality, which I really like. My girlfriend describes them as feeling like the pit of an avocado, which is both specific and difficult to describe. They are smooth but textured in some way, according to her. In any case, this metallic one doesn't feel or look nearly as nice, but it's still solid and well-made, and it's just difficult enough to open that I'm confident in the security of my cards. I would still recommend this product to others based on its functional quality, but with the understanding that the satin is nicer and this one is only for those who want a truly unique look, albeit at a lower perceived quality.
Unlike the other red tower, this one is not satin. It has a lustrous sheen to it. br>br>Holds my double-sleeved 100-card Daretti Commander deck, as well as several dice in the bottom tray. This is an excellent box.
However, the price, quality, and longevity are unrivaled. It has a capacity of about 105 people. 110 MTG cards, double-sleeved.
We've been collecting all of the colors from UltraPro's Metallic line, which has become a household favorite.
I clearly received the matte finish deck box, but it's not worth returning to risk receiving the same thing again, so I'll keep it. clearly labeled incorrectly.
The color ruby red, like Dorothy's ruby red slippers. And equally lovely and enthralling.
A standard red satin tower was delivered to me.
The matte finish was delivered instead of the metallic finish that had been requested. A mistake was made in the labeling of the product. Based on other reviews, it appears that this is a common problem. The most serious flaw is that the metallic box is $10 more expensive than the matte, so I was also duped.
