Ultimate Guard Superhive 550+ Amber

I was hesitant to buy this one because of mixed reviews from product testers, but I eventually did. br>br>Quality-wise, it's up to the high standards I've come to expect from Ultimate Guard materials, with a nice feel and solid construction, but the layout just doesn't work for its intended purpose. The front card row is slightly larger than even in the Arkhive (to accommodate toploaders on their sides), and the small token box is a complete waste of space for its intended purpose. br>I cannot recommend this for transporting loose, sleeved, or even double-sleeved cards because there is far too much movement room. It's now perfect for holding Boulders or other deck boxes, but the weight distribution is completely off due to the poor row placement. It's simply not suited for its all-encompassing purpose. a single goal This would have been fantastic if it had been an Arkhive Matholder; instead, it's an overpriced combo item that does the job of both, but not as well as either. I won not buy another of these and will stick to the Arkhive. It holds fewer cards but just works better for 40% less cost.

This box has left me extremely disappointed. I went into this loving UG and most of their products, but this fell short. I had seen photos of people using the back row for vertical card storage, which would allow the box to hold the perfect array of cards for me, and I was ecstatic! br>br>Well, it turns out that the box is just a few millimeters (unsleeved) too short to accommodate any kind of vertical storage. To me, this appears to be a major design flaw, and it renders the box nearly useless for my purposes, as I had hoped to store my entire "deck building" collection in it. Now I essentially have an arkhive with a mat slot that can only be used to increase deck box acceptance to a bare minimum. My goal was to remove the drawer so that I could store my potential commanders separately, with the front row containing organized colored cards and the back row containing vertical colorless cards. br>br>If this box could store TCGs vertically, it would be the best product I've ever bought. br>br>I'm not claiming false advertising or anything; I understand it's not advertised as such; I just find it difficult to believe such a minor oversight exists. I still own and enjoy a number of UG products, but this is the one I wish I hadn't bought. br>br>I'm dissatisfied with the results.

This is a case that I really like. Outside, the material is slick and grippy at the same time. Gray micro suede is used on the inside. The magnetic closure works well. I wish it were a little taller because you can't even set cards upright in it - The tops of the cards will be crushed by the case's top. It would have made a huge difference if they had made it even a centimeter taller. My loose cards are mostly from booster packs, and I don't have a large collection of them. I mostly play Planeswalker decks. All cards and boxes must be placed on their sides once more. This isn't the case for you if this bothers you. I'd prefer something different, but that wouldn't stop me from purchasing the box again. They should've designed it with that feature in mind, in my opinion. Also, the dice drawer needs to be larger. Overall, this is an excellent case. High-quality - The measurements, however, could be improved.

The amazon box appeared to be in good condition, with plenty of padding inside, but the hive's packaging had seen better days, with a number of scuffs. It had a ripped corner and was only just closed. I noticed a few minor scuffs after I took the hive out of its packaging. I believe I was given a returned item because of the discoloration. Is this something that makes me happy? No. BUT, this was a big part of my boyfriend's Christmas present. Because I don't know if the process of returning/replacing the item will get it back to me (AK) in time; if the blemishes were not minor, I would probably feel differently, but I have a feeling the boyfriend will care less about it than I do. br>br>7/10 I'd buy from them again. Although I am wary of the seller, the product appears to be of excellent quality.

The fabric inside is nice and doesn't take up any space, the material is sturdy, and the stitching holding the exterior together is excellent. The magnet is strong, and the fabric inside is nice and doesn't take up any space. My magic decks are made with it. Inside ultra pro deck boxes, it can hold up to eight decks. I don't use the play Matt section for play Matts, but it can fit three commander decks in commander deck boxes, or three regular deck boxes on the back or face of the box, I believe. I'm also happy with the dice draw, which has at least eight roll downs. Just don't put it in backwards; it'll be difficult to get out, and with how sturdy it is, it'll take a lot of force to move it. I was able to remove it from the box without causing any damage.

I like how it can hold two people as well as a small deck, as stated, and I would buy every color if I didn't already have enough money. Ha. In the future, I would definitely purchase more.

This is fantastic. It's currently being used to store 5 commander decks with 100 boulders of clear ultimate guard. This will accommodate a wide range of deck boxes. The Ultimate guard sidewinders look so clean in this (and fit the best!)br>br>I love that it holds playmate. Satin towers (they take up extra room), 150 card ultra pro folding tops, and the Ultimate guard sidewinders look so clean in this (and fit the best!)br>br> Previously, those were the bane of my MTG storage woes. br>br>Taking out the vertical tray can be awkward, and stuff falls out occasionally, but I'm glad they included it anyway. br>br>It's big and bulky, so I mostly use it for storage, but it was fun to take it to a friend's house for game night. br>br>I'll try to remember to post a picture as soon as possible.
